Ive been playing mmos for a long time. and what gets me bored of em is the amount of insane grinding u hae to do to actually become some1 important or have decent items. if some1 knows a decent game (graphics, etc...) that does not require 8 hours of daily grinding to be good, please name some.
thanks

Guild Wars. Absolutely no grinding. You play the PvE for the story. If you're more into PvP, you can create a max level (level 20) character right from the start and join in on the fun.
The graphics are awesome, the servers are stable, support is awesome and there's no monthly fee after you've bought the box!
go play eve no grinding at all only if you want isk then you can grind out missions or mine but to get skills you do not need to even be online to get skill lvls
Lord of the Rings Online.
Probably the least grind necessary game of the major titles. You can easily obtain VERY solid gear, and max level w/out grinding at all.
If you want to "maximize" your character-you will discover that there is a solid amoung 40 hours or so of grinding to maximize your traits/deeds to ranks between 6 and 9. And like most MMO's if you want a full raid set of gear or a full pvp set of gear there is a fair bit of pvp grinding or Raid grinding in terms of running the same raid over and over.
That said you can build a very solid level 50, with solid purple gear with some very good teals mixed in w/out ever grinding. You would be about 90% as strong as the guy that grinded all his traits to max...and probably about 85% as strong as a guy that grinded all his traits and all his raid gear.
I agree LOTRO has hard;y any grinding. If you want to you can but you are never forced to grind. Great story, great community, great graphics. Great all-around.

Yes, I agree with Vantras. There is very little grinding in LOTRO unless you absolutley want to completely max your character in every single aspect possible. Then you WILL need to grind Traits by killing monsters but that is not a problem, just get a group going and it'll be fun and easy
But there is plenty of things to do BESIDES doing that, you can just do 6 man instances, raid, Monster Play, Crafting, decorate your house and Role Play.
LOTRO has an amazing RP community so you may catch yourself just RPing for hours : D
i think Lord of the rings is the very best choice so far. is there any particular server with a nice community and nice amount of players??
There is a 14 free day trial on www.lotro.com go try it out.
Also join the Landrovel server! has the best RP community and just best community in general
