Reservations on the origins server population balnce

Im a little worried on how the population numbers balance on this new server. I say this because i play on alb and hib on classic and almost everyone i know or talk too say theyre gonna roll mid. I have a fear its gonna be completely one sided.
Personally ill be going hib as a bm

Not to discourage you but I too plan to play Midgard. It is my favorite realm, and I think the one that best suits my play style and gets me most immersed. However I do know a few friends who are stubborn and refuse to go anywhere else but hib. I don't want to go with them. I played mid untill they nerfed the zerker class at which point I went and joined them on hib and got a few 50's out of it all the while never really feeling at home.
So to recap, I = Midgard, rest of the people = *spit* Albion. Hibernia will probably be low pop again like it was everywhere else.
No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-
I have not made up my mind as to whether I plan on going back to play on the Origins server, but if I do decide to return I for sure am playing Albion. When I played at release that was what I played and being a huge fan of the Arthurian Legends it just would seem wrong to play any other realm.
That Guild Wars 2 login screen knocked up my wife. Must be the second coming!
I plan on rolling hib. And, more than likely, who ever I can drag into the game (or back to it) will roll hib as well.
Roll Hib then dude... Who cares who will roll hib/mid/alb? It will pan out , trust me. People are going to go to the place they are comfortable.... then realize they cannot cross realm.
That is is right. Die cross realming... cause we all did it!
So play what you wanna be and you're friends will catch up.
Anyone know if all the expansion classes minus the minotaur will be in Origins ? I know there won't be a theurgist for Albs and Mid will get the Valk but what about say Bonedancer for Mids or the Valewalker for Hibs ?
I looked over the Herald but did not see much with my quick scan.
I will probably play mid but i have always played mid. in my exp mids have never been the high population winners. usualy the highest population was alb and then hib, last being mid. on the servers i played on anyways. i love being on the side of the underdog and mid suits my personality lol.
Well I for one will not be playing hib nor mid, but will be going back to my beloved alb!
I plan on making a minstrel.

IMO there will be a lot of mids, just look at classic the mids always have pop everywhere not to mention tons of stealthers.

Yeah there will be a lot of mids...also Valk is the last remaining catacombs class, that will just add to the population.

As a mid, the only thing I have to say is:

will all the races be playable? like the minitor? im cool with classic classes but it would be nice to play all the races tho.
Think of it this way, the more mids there are, the more people to kill if you roll alb or hib

As far as im aware all the races will be in origins just not all the classes - (see previous post for list) but i might be wrong.

I'm glad to see the old "realm hate" is back, lol. This server is a great idea no matter how well it works out IMO. Fighting for "your" realm is what made this game so great... we are months away from it being launched and already picking fights
Also, like the old days (I played on Pellinor) having a massive diff. in realm pop just makes you want to win even more and you will see a lot of late night and off hour raids as well as playing together as a realm, not just going out in groups. I can tell you now there will be a LOT of huge battles on this server.

Sadly, most of my friends from DAOC are hoping WAR will be out around the same time as Origins, so they all plan on playing WAR instead. Not that I blame them, I might just join them.

Seriously tho, I think this server is going to give a much needed injection of "reason to play" that has been missing for a while. On some of the other forums they are already starting guilds... gotta love it.

from the list of guilds i see planning to play, seems that hib> mid and both dwarf the alb population.
of course knowing alb, that means alb will outnumber both combined lol.
my guild decided to roll hib, and my entire daoc history has been hib
