Everyone: Make sure that your case has good cooling and airflow before you get this card. It does not vent the heat out the back of the PC case. Also make sure that your power supply has a PCI power connector and is at least 500 watts.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT YOUR FAVORITE COMPANY. You may personally hate ATi and get weak in the knees over NVidia and that's just awesome, but that's not what this post is about.
Buy.com has a 5% off offer as well as free shipping currently available on some of their products.

All total, you can nab the 4850 for $175 and some change. With a bit of patience you can have free shipping. For just under $6 more you can get 2 (business) day delivery.
They also have MIR (mail in rebate) offers on other cards that will bring the cost down to about $160-ish, but it will take up to 2 months for the rebate check to be mailed to you.
A new 2 GB model of this card has been announced, but will obviously be more expensive when it launches. Pick your poison.
It's not quite as uber as the 4870, but it's a good card and seems to be a respectable price for it.
Hopefully this information will be of use to someone. Have fun.
