Looks good but ESACTLY the same as WOW, the UI customization is nice though, it's just clear to see what game they were looking at when they made this one lol. The graphics and animations also looked alot nicer than the videos they put out, it's weird why a company would put out them videos they have because caus ethey look HORRIBLE and then this site puts out something that looks alot better.

The game textures and additional graphic..things...are not in the game yet. They're set on medium low or something.
Also there's a comparison thread somewhere that compares a scene from WoW with one from WAR and on low settings WAR looks better than WoW on high...

Only thing they have in common is the art direction. Except WAR isn't as vibrant as WoW, from what I've seen. WAR has more details, too, in my opinion. They have some similarities but they're not all that alike.
Valentina is correct too. A lot of screenshots and videos (especially NDA breaking ones) are seen on low-ish settings so the game will run as smooth as possible.
Well the gameplay looks esactly the same to me, showed the video to my mate and he said "it's like WOW all over again" and another ex Planetside online buddy said to me he got into beta (this was awhile back) and it was a WOW clone so he quit cause he prefers the cartoony look of WOW more. I mean yeh every mmorpg these days plays the same but seeing how the quest givers works and all the details like that it's clear to see they took ALOT of the good stuff from WOW and put in in this game. Saying the only thing they got in common is the art style is stupid because the basic mechanics and UI are the same and that goes true for most mmorpgs out there because they all looked at the EQ format.
I'm not hating on the game because it actually looks really good now and I can';t wait to download a trial to try it out.
Just a shame all the stuff Mythic puts out makes the game look like crap.

There are only so many ways to draw an orc before it stops being a orc. WoW's design was based of Warhammers so orcs are going to look similar. Now do us all a favor and compare humans in WoW with humans in WAR or elves in WoW vs elves in WAR.

IMO the second one looks more realistic. The details are far better than in WoW. The sky even looks 10x better than WoW's. The first one looks blocky, while the second is far more smooth. The second one is darker and more intimidating that the first.

Now that I've posted that...WAR is not stealing anything from WoW...seeing how WoW stole quite a bit of stuff from other games...
It's a long list of who copied who. I really don't think it matters...you look at exsisting things, try to make them better, and then add other original content. Mythic has done just that.

I agree...if there will not be a cap then there will be inbalances of the Server. It will never be fair for the attacker to fight against 3 times more their troop count or vise versa. The cap is a GREAT! thing...

I do think the walking, running, horse galloping sounds are really horrible and way too loud. But otherwise, it's looking better.

Great find OP. The 3rd video was pretty decent, the running sound was extremely high. The arrows around the characters to point out teammates was a +. It looks like the trolls were wrong about those content cuts . .
