Nice Armor.  But I'm done with WoW.  I can't see myself running the same instances or AV over and over and over over and over and over over and over and over over and over and over over and over and over over and over and over over and over and over again hoping I get a piece of gear. Plus Warhammer and Diablo 3 are coming.

Yeah no thanks, I am sorry but after a while, they all look the same. The art style is just getting old and very very unoriginal.

I have to agree, it seems that WoW is little more than a haven for obsessive compulsive personalities at endgame.   Most guilds are heavily raider based or filled with children who are so inarticulate you can't understand them.

The graphics are lipstick on a low polygon chicken.

And lastly, we killed boars at level 1, we killed hellboars in Outland at level 60+, are we going to be killing 'iceboars' at level 70+?  I'm willing to bet the unlucky souls that buy the expansion will.

I agree it just ain't fun anymore.  All it is, is the same old, same old.  Ohhh I get to go to 80 now then farm for rep and do MORE dailies.  I'll pass.  I am in WAR beta and having fun atm.  WOTLK is nothing new.

    Warning: Blizzard's ideas running low!

  • kakarotragekakarotrage Member Posts: 280

Anyone who played long enough can see how Blizzard just ran out of stuff to make wow interesting .. the only way they could do that is bring back world pvp somehow but they went the exact opossite way

World of Warcraft is a proof that MMORPG quality should affect schedule/budget and not the other way around.

Is it just me or does all of Warcraft's "New" armor look like poopie? EDIT: sunwell included.

I'm going to have agree with most here.  I'll probably still try out WotLK though, if there's nothing on the horizon.

Since i like swimming against the flow....

Looks actually pretty decent to me, i'll most likely be buying the expansion, people here can try make themselves bigger than they seem and fart some air out but WotLK is going to sell more than AoC or WAR can sell/sold together.

You can't go wrong with Blizzard when it comes to buying an entertaining game worth every penny.

BTW i see a lot of funny old movie monsters in those, i love that part!  Can't wait to bash those "gremlins look-alike".   "Gizmo grille!!!! wahahahahahaaaaaa", might be their attack voices?

For now it looks like my mmo games for next year will be WotLK and Aion, with a splash of D3, when it finally arrives.

I've watched a bunch of WotLK videos.  While they may have added a sprinking of new models everything is once again recycled, including seeing epic player gear equiped on mobs again.

I dunno, I'll probably pick up the expansion, but once I hit 80 go into hibernation again for another 2+ years.

More re-skined/coloured mobs and armor. I'm really disapointed with the armor. I'm seriously hoping for more "classic High Fantasy" armors in WOTLK, not more of this space aged, insect-like, armor we've seen since TBC.

  • SonofSethSonofSeth Member UncommonPosts: 1,884

Hehe, I want an Oracle pet too.

But seriously, I'm looking forwart to this expansion. I strugled with TBC at first but when I made my peace with WoW and what kind of game it is I started to enjoy it much more. What got me there was that fuzzy feeling when you ding, explore and get new gear, and with new, casual grind I was finaly able to tailor my gameplay the way it's fun for me and I could finaly kiss the raiding idea goodbye.

So, bring it on I say, with the new PVP area, new mobs and new places to explore, Northrend here I come.

Well Im not sure what you mean by re-skins, that is just a sample of the mew models there a hand ful of modified models but thats becuase they belong to the same family of creatures so they will be simiar.  Taken what small sample i posted.....

    The giants ... 100% new

Nerubian race ... around 2 dozen new models and 2 or 3 modified

Nexus dragons ... a few new additions but yeah re-skins (but dragons are dragons)

    Vrykul ... 100% new

    Seige weapons ... 100% new

    Jormunger worms .... 100% new

    The oricales ... 100% new

Forest Nymps ... played a tiny roll in orignal wow but are 100% new models in wotlk

Dire furblogs ... yes we had furblogs before but these are 100% new models

In regards to the armour that is just 1 of many sets and I think its better than the BC armour, far more down to earth and the shoulder pads are smaller. I think the nelf is where the hunter Dungeon #1 set.. looks spiffing.

damn, back to WOW I go.

You see, every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with their surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You spread to an area, and you multiply, and you multiply, until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet.-Mr.Smith

World PvP will rock with air land battles.

The D-day landings Battleground and sieges of keeps...

with REAL fast animated PVP fights. Not some 70 year olds fighting in a moonwalked slow motion ... )))))

    yammi.

Once WoTLK releases I'll be done with WoW, I'm not going to contribute to a pay for expansion with just more the same content. That and I just won't level up to go through re-gearing again, thanks but no thanks.

Blizzard...where eleventy billion dollars brings you more of the same old crap, now new and improved, WITH PENGUINS!!!

    F'kin Roflmao.

Trammies need to stop polluting the MMORPG landscape. They already have enough games in which to emote hugs and sell garbage by the banks.
