Before HG was coming out i saw many posts asking to place HG on MMORPG.  Are we going to see Diablo 3 on here?

I doubt it seriously. It's still isometric and still just multiplayer, not massively multiplayer. The same reasons that keep Diablo 1 and 2 from here will keep D3 from here. Unfortunately, Hellgate: London is no more of an mmo than Diablo is, but the site caved to the fanbois and the HG:L devs who swore it was an mmo before realizing that it was only the devs trying to tap into the money generated by subscription based mmos with a singleplayer and limited multiplayer game by calling it an mmo.

It's isometric because people like it that way! Goddamn WOW stereotypes, open your mind.

Chill out, dude. Did you read my post or just see "isometric" and have a shit-fit? I brought up it being isometric because it means they won't have it here because if you read their rules, they no longer accept isometric games. It is also not an mmo, so there's no point arguing about it.

Here the rules for accepting mmo's on this site :

500 or more simultaneous players in one world.
The game must include some form of graphical common area. This distinction means Diablo II is not considered an MMORPG, while Guild Wars is.
It must be graphical...so no text based MUDs.
    Persistent characters.
    Some form of character advancement.
It must use a true client/server connection. In other words, no HTML or "web" based games. Games that run in a browser using Java are OK.
Five or more screenshots from inside of the game engine itself.
A professional web site free of annoying pop-up ads or Spyware programs and access to some kind of support system.
Must fully support English. This means the client interface, in-game chat, help system and support website must all be in English.

So that means that isometric games are included, but games that have no form of graphical common area or don't allow 500+ players in one world are excluded.

Where did you read that isometric games are excluded from mmorpg.com?

Okay I just read the FAQ again and here it is :

NOTE: At this time we are no longer adding 2D/Isometric games to our list - we will add these again at a later date once we adapt our list to allow feature filtering.

Damn that sucks, cause I may like certain Isometric games, I hope mmorpg.com makes work of this filtering quickly so the can include them again.
