New MMORPG that just went through it's first CB and going through it's second CB soon.
If you're a fan of the old school, turned based RPG's, then you're going to love this. It's made by Square Enix, and it's like playing Dragon Quest or Chrono Trigger but online. 15 different classes, character customization, full dungeons, playable pets, and amazing design.

Hopefully it's better than Atlantica online, another turn based mmo :P
I have to disagree with Airspell; Atlantica Online is pretty fun.
No, it's not. I played it and found it very uninspiring. It tries to be a singleplayer game but has no real storyline to get you hooked in the way a singleplayer rpg will. There's also the fact that you only seem to need other people in the fact you can buy items from each other. I can play a good singleplayer rpg with an actual ongoing good story and get the items I want from an NPC store . Not to mention the 3 sisters don't even know what their own names are when they greet you. lol
The game fails as a singleplayer and it fails as an mmorpg. Don't know what else to say.
Atlantica online is worth trying foryourself if you havent played it yet. I think it is a cool game so far, i dont know if i will play it very long but its not as bad as the previous 2 posters try to make it seem.

Good job staying on topic.
Concerto Gate looks pretty interesting, actually. Made by Square-Enix.... I'll wait and check it out once CB2 begins.

I hope the second closed beta client is Vista compatible.
I've played a turned based MMO, but it's not really my bread and butter. Hopefully this will be better than Myth War's though so i might give it a try come release time.
Too bad Concerto is only available to US and Canada, got my hopes up a bit :P
actually, atlantica online is an awesome turn based mmorpg. i found it in search of something like concerto, and it actually has all the makings of a very good game.
the pvp possibilities are very motivating. guilds have the ability to take over towns and in pvp it's almost as if playing chess. they also do a very good job of guiding you thru all the features by making them expable quests. most of the time it's just, "look under this menu" and you find out about it and get rewarded with exp and items.
I am looking for a good turn-based mmo. I find it alot more appealing then the current combat rehash. I guess its time to see what Concerto Gate is like when it hits open beta. Atlantica has its high points, but its low points also shows and I don't think its going to stick for me.
I tried to get into the Closed beta but it says to get a key at filefront.com
I went to the site but nowhere do I see where I can get a key.
Thats because there are no keys to give out currently. CB 1 has ended and there is no date on CB 2 yet.
