Dude, that is one of the main reasons i quit the game. The game is money driven ,spawn camping the whole thing is all about money not about having some fun playing a game.I have been out for a few mnths now so its hard for me to remember all the mob names ,but ill try to help you.

Items are pretty much depending on your level, meaning that if you are too high in level for the mob you are fighting, the drops will be less frequent .I can tell you now before you get too far into the game that the prices of top equipment will blow you away as compared to early levels. If you are still insistant on playing the game through to higher levels, then here goes.....

If you are near saruta/tahronghi then crawlers net a tidy income for you.A 12 stack usually runs around 10-12 thousand gil.I think it was san doria but already forgetting alot of the game that nets beetle shells or [some other beetle item] that go for a decent sum in the auction house.Crawler silk and beetles can give the same drops throughout several levels and at different areas. So as you level up you can fight the ones that are closer to your level for more frequent drops.

An easy trick that new players often overlook is to buy from the auction house the single items and resell them back in 12 stacks. This way you never have to do much work at all other than hang at the AH.An example of this is to buy single crawler silk at say 600/700 gil untill you have enough for a 12 stack wich you can sell for around 11,000>>>12x700=8400,you see the profit? There are other items that net a higher profit however they are dropped less frequent so are far more time consuming.Gobbues and the bird that looks like a turkey or whatever it was called have good drops.

Just sift through the auction house items to see wich are netting a good profit in single form or in 12 stacks. Also check out the fluctuating prices of magic scrolls in the different cities to see how you can make a profit buying and selling them.If you are having trouble finding a party try to hangout near the proper levelling areas, because quite often parties dont like to wait too long for new recruits, therefore they gofor the players that are nearby.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

Yea I used to play that game for months as well, and I have to agree that that game is money driven. As i remember. ninja's are one of the most expensive jobs in the game next to rng/nin, so what I would probably recommend is to high lvl a another job, say your lvl 30 job, and lvl it till you reach around 50. Yea I know, 50!?! It sounds strange, but at that lvl you can farm bigger foes that havea better chance of dropping good items. Personally I just mined all my higher lvl income at gusgen mines. You can get around a good 25- 30 k in about an hour, however those mobs aggro if you are under 50. Also a large sum of my early income came from those big money quests such as the teleport spells and utsusemi Ichi (although you'll probably want that spell). Now to get to lvl 50 ::::03::
