Ok, so I have two accounts, one that I started May 2003. In September 2004 I am still at 11 months, it hasnt gone up since May it just stopped going up. So I call a gm and they send me an automated message "for information on the topic your looking for" etc etc. So I go to the UO webpage, I surfed for the topic (I typed in vet reward and account age) and after 20 minutes of searching through google and the UO webpage I gave up and called the GM again, stating that the UO webpage didnt help me with this issue, sending me the same damn automated message. Obviously they didnt read my second message. So I was stuck at 11 months, deleted my second account. All he had to do was give me a f'ing response, even if it was "this is the first report. we will wait for others to say something about this so that we know its just a bug". So me and my friend harassed OSI with Star Trek quotes and then we played Star Trek in the GM prisons until they permabanned us for spamming and harassment of other players. So I waisted their time and their money, and all they had was give me some sign that they speak english and can read it. Their the ones losing 12.99 a month just for ONE AUTOMATED MESSAGE. I dont want an account stuck at 11 months with no way of fixing it.

sadly since EA took full control of UO, it hasent been to great, the customer support sux, it used to be awesome, just a sign of the times. im still runnin strong though been going since 97
i remember when the rewards were just introduced, and i didnt log my thief on while it was turned on so when they turned it off (due to bugs n hacks n stuff) for about 6 months i couldnt use my ethereal mounts when i had my ubar faction-stealth-thief Teldaro... But it was fun naming a lama "Nothing-here-look-away" and have it follow me into brit while stealthing ^^

uo was the shit when fel was around and only fel ...no trammel care bear land...... then tram came it was ok but lost the whole travel in groups for pk watch ... or bounty system... I still played in fel hardcore .... the champ spawns were fun and all and I did quite a few to get to 120..... Then ea came out with some sell skills for money which threw me off the game ... they still have tht by the way ?
EA sucks and should of never been involved in a game of that classic origin .... rich garriot owned and knew what he was making when he first tarted the project as lord british ....
its a shame you will all not to get to see uo back in its glory for it was one of the best mmorpgs ever...
now it is nothing mroe then a corporate paycheck and i wish it would fall ... all the real uo players left when they sold skills for money.... to have the people on ebay do it is one thing since that is selling there time .... but when a company does it with a few clicks of its magical keyboard is gross
no it WAS the best mmorpg ever, nothing will ever beat what old skool uo was from 97-99 IMO
Ohh BTW they are just a wee bit overpaid
