Hmmm once you've played WoW a lot of these games seem dead as a doornail.
CoX - absolutely impossible to party. you will regularly have to log off unable to find a party unless you have a soloing build.
DaoC - You can solo to max lvl but the combat is clunky and the graphics are so bad that you cant tell whats going on in pvp.
SWG - Don't even bother. Populations so low you wont be able to play and the balancing will never recover.
PoTBS - Make sure its a free trial. Im hearing a lot of bad things about pvp balancing.
L2 - The expansion isnt out yet. Dont bother playing til it is as its like 4x xp apparently.
LOTRO - Difficult to play after playing WoW. The quests are random, lack any direction and there isn't much a talent system.
To be honest you don't give any requirements for the game you want!?
-- Note: PlayNC will refuse to allow you access to your account if you forget your password and can't provide a scanned image of the product key for the first product you purchased..... LOL
I know you had City of Heroes on your list, but I'd recommend giving it another try. In my opinion it is the best MMO out there so far. Last week was Double xp Weekend. Everyone had a great time earning 2x rewards. The community is by far the best and the devs are cool as ever.
The thing that turned me off of City of Heroes was that every quest was the same and it was the biggest chore ever. All the places you had to go looked the same/ the enemies looked very similiar, and every single quest was a 2 minute walk.

Haha I'm not too picky. I just started up AoC again and I seem to be enjoying myself so I think I'll stick to that for a bit though, thank you for the suggestions!

I hate to say it but this guy is completely right LOL! No game out there is perfect, and there will never be one. The games he listed have a special quality that makes the players stick with it.

Yeah if AoC doesn't do it for me I might just give up on MMORPGs for a long time. Nothing thats coming out has me really hyped, though I haven't really done any research on any MMORPGs in development.
Compared to other MMO's its more complicated, and IMO suits veteran players well. There is great depth to quests and specs, plus graphics are still great. There is a huge range of classes to choose from and master.
But by far it has the best community of any MMO out there. The guild setup is so much more than anything else currently has to offer.
As a bonus if you subscribe to station access, a couple of £ more a month, you get free account with SWG, Vanguard, Planetside, Pirates of the burning Sea, EQ1 and Matrix.
Core i5 13600KF, BeQuiet Pure Loop FX 360, 32gb DDR5-6000 XPG, WD SN850 NVMe ,PNY 3090 XLR8, Asus Prime Z790-A, Lian-Li O11 PCMR case (limited ed 1045/2000), 32" LG Ultragear 4k Monitor, Logitech G560 LightSync Sound, Razer Deathadder V2 and Razer Blackwidow V3 Keyboard

Oh wow, how much more do you have to pay to access all those games? Any Idea?
Aye you have to buy each game serperately, but once you got them all, can pay for all their fees with that one subscription. So it is good if you like to go on and off for SWG, EQ, EQII, POTBS, and such.

Actually, looking at the list of games, I'd probably only use it for EQ2 if I decided I liked it and maybe Vanguard if, again, I decided to like it. So that right there is $30. The other games don't seem too appealing to me.
