Just got a beta invite...

in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

Just one-day after I resubbed to LotRO. Coincidence? Especially considering I had completely forgotten about this game (/lost care).

Such a long download though, but understandable.

    Yet one more reason they should only be sending out Beta invites to people that have recently logged into their WAR Beta page. Now they are sending invites out to people who don't care much about the game, and certainly who won't submit any sort of bug reports or feedback, since it would be a waste of their time.

    Makes me wonder who's in charge of the Beta over at Mythic. They need their head checked.

    You are making assumptions about things you don't really know.

    I lost care because I've followed this game for too long (signed up for beta over a year and a half ago!) and other things have caught my interest.

    Doesn't mean that I won't do what's need for to be an effective beta-tester. I've always been great about testing MMOs and submitting issues and feedback (have done this for countless MMOs).

    And perhaps someone who has lost interest would make the perfect tester because the feedback could be more valuable than someone just blindly following the game.

    only at 4% though..

    been registered for 2 years, finally get an invite, when the choppa gets removed =/

    If you hadn't made your assumptions, and instead clicked on my signature, you wouldn't have stuck your foot in your mouth there and insinuated I blindly follow anything, heh. But who cares really. You got some playtime and probably won't end up subbing. I just hope you do what's needed from a tester to help the game in the end. Because I do care about its success.

    I really think you might be breaking the NDA by stating the file size of the beta client, I mean the only two things we're allowed to talk about is the fact we are in it, and that there is a closed beta test happening.

    yeah I would be careful of that as well. Might want to consider editing your post there a bit, but aside from that welcome to beta!
