So it looks like SOE is forging their path into the console market.

I'm sure this information is elsewhere, but this is how I came across it. I'm not liking the idea of companies having multi-platform MMOs.. it just does not work. PC holds no contenders with MMOGs, if you cross-platform, you sacrifice a lot. Although, this subject is a beaten horse in these forums, just my two cents.

I think we are going to start to see the decline of SOE's quality, no pun intended. They do O.K. with games, all past Star Wars gripes aside, but when they hit console market, its just going to turn to a steaming pile of rotten turd.

EDIT: *Broken Link*.. my apologies. The picture was in a slide show on Yahoo from the Comic Con in San Diego. It was the SOE and DC Comics booth. It showed a picture of a guy playing 'DC Universe' on PS3. The caption also said, Video games to the next level. Players will be able to pick one of their favorite comic characters to battle other players on either PS3 or PC.

Marvel Universe would be better imo

Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced.

Agreed, while the consoles of today might be ok for MMO's NOW, think of the future though. That's one of PC's greatest strenght, you can upgrade your computer at any time. Consoles, not so much. Just look at FFXI, it's PS2, PC, 360 platform and yet, I'm sure you'll see many well thought out debates that argue that the PS2 has held back FFXI due to it's limitations.

The cross platform thing is bugging me too, but it does have some really good potential.  I'm definately looking forward to this coming out.  I'll be grabbing it for PC, of course.  Good to see some more competition in the super hero MMORPG area.
