Warhammer release september 24th?

Got an email from Gamestop today saying that Warhammer will be shipping out september 23 and they are giving free overnight shipping. It'll be in the store september 24th.
Confirm deny?

Consider it false if Mythic didn't say it yet.
It's not impossible. I imagine if its true we'll be hearing about it in next week's newsletter.

All other websites have a date of September 30th last time I checked (2 days ago).

Yeah but its on they're Singapore site, I don't see anythin about it on the US, UK, or Austrialian sites.

Hmmmm another "someone in the compony did not get the memo?" They said open beta shoudl follow after guild beta as Guild Beta was thier big ready for general public test did they not. I could see this as being a real release date, baring any problems.

I would agree with this but it doesn't change the fact that at most this release date is a tentative one.
This is no where near official.
If this is true, i best start putting a lot more money to one side on payday. Hoping to get a new computer to run it perfectly. Oooo i can't wait!

Yes, just about every store has the 23rd date. They do that with every game coming out. IT IS TENTATIVE not official.
No they are saying at the same time they found this info people with pre orders have all been getting emails saying its coming out the 23rd I think...

This is the first time I have ever received an email from Gamestop mentioning a release date before it became official. I know they use tentative dates but I haven't seen them use a tentative date in a newsletter.

I have the CE pre ordered from Amazon and havent received or seen a definite date yet. I was hoping for an official release date at E3
Listen, the emails could correct. The release date could be the 23rd. However it's NOT OFFICIAL.
So I don't have a problem with people thinking it might be the 23rd. It's teh one that replys with the "It's official, its Sept 23rd" type responses.
All the indicators show that the release is end of september. Frankly i cant imagine the game not being released then, which is somewhat troublesome. However EA is going to release, they want the 2 month window to generate sales without WoW expansion compitition.
Guild beta invites went out this month, pushing for more large scale encounters in the rvr front
Beta invites are ramped up, and more people are being invited on a large scale basis.
Pre - order codes are being released by EA and pushed out to the masses.
CE edition is already sold out, or limited in most areas, and EA isnt making any more.
In another few weeks its going to be known anyway, soon as the game goes gold its a done deal, there is no way you will see a delay after the game goes gold, its far to costly to stop. So unless there is an announcement about the game being delayed in 2-3 weeks at most, then its going live.
Stupid, as far as i know they will get in close conflict with WotLK release, bad move from Mythic.

Sure it will lower sales; however, those who want a completely new game, not just another add-on for one they've previously been playing will be unphased.
