    Having had so many screenshots now, they all seem to pale against the wow shots.

    Also, the in-game footage is far superior to the stills that are being released.

    Its probably all because of the level of anticipation now the game is well into beta and getting closer to release.

    Yeah the in-game footage looks technically impressive, largely because it's recorded on the kind of computer your great-great grandkids will own.

    The spell effects don't look as impressive anymore. Especially that fire explosion. It looks really pixellated. Not the mention the fighter near on of the gnolls. It looks like his head is falling off as his body floats away.

    I agree. Blizzard seem to have accepted the limitations of todays average gaming computer and have clearly worked hard to make the absolute most of those limitations. It's an obvious and effective approach that most game developers just seem to ignore.

    Blizzard seems to accepted their 1990's graphic limitations, & I too, am waiting for EQ II.  image
