Dying in PvP or PvE doesnt matter. If you ress at the spirit healer you lose XP. And at like lvl 20, you lose about 2K XP from each ress. So yea he might be a bit over exagerrating.
Yeah, the 70,000 exp is just an exaggeration.. Unless at like lvl 70 that's a bubble's worth but we wont know that for awhile. (still doubt it would be 70,000 though)
What i did was i got bored of leveling at level 12 on my rogue, so i took a couple buddies down into the barrens and we started settin up outside of towns and the horde there would come and attack us and we would try to hold our area against them, and then they all had red names so we would just go kill as many as we could in the coolest ways. But, being right near towns when I died I would just use the spirit healer there because inevitably I would get jumped if i went back to my place i died to rez my body. Also, in intense pvp situations in which you die alot your clock for how much time it takes between your death and when you can rez increases and you are waiting 5 minutes every time just to get back into the fray, whereas the spirit healer is instant and whenever you want to use it. I wasn't going to level anymore, so i didn't care about what kind of xp debt i had so i just kept racking it up with the spirit healer and after like 3 days of pvp like that i was at -77000 xp/ 10000 xp to level lol
By the time I hit level 30, I havent used the spirit healer once. There is simply no need. Someone either ressurects you, or you do a quick corpse run back to your body.

I only had to use the spirit healer maybe 4 times. Once I wanted to be in town anyway, so I figurd the xp loss would be better than running back to my corpse, and either running back or using the hearthstone(if it was ready). The other 3 times were when people were camping my body and there wasn't anyone around t kill them.
And about the pic.. it looks neat.. but a little.. big, no?

The only time I've ever used a spirit healer was when my corpse was being camped by like 100 Alliance guys (durring a raid on the PvP server) and the second time was when I suicided off the world tree and couldn't get to my corpse.
Only times I used the spirit healer was when I was on my way to a city and I accidently died and ended up ghosting in the city I wanted to be in so instead of running back to my corpse then back to the city I just took the xp hit. Other then that its pretty pointless to take an xp hit unless youre being corpse camped or you are in an instance and dont wanna go back
I kinda liked the first one more. He seemed more like a crypt keeper, which is pretty much his job.
I guess the angel like model does go with a "spirit healer" though as it is bringing you to life.
I dunno, just kinda liked the dead looking guy better.

EGAD!!!
Too bad they are so mean and steal your xp..
I ended up with some ridiculous -70000 xp because of that bastard. Maybe she is nicer?
You know you can run (faster then alive) back to your body and res, right?

Not if you're being camped by annoying PvPers. But I do agree, running out to grab your corpse is much better then taking the exp hit.

How do you lose -70,000 exp by PvP?
I'm guessing he is an idiot and he is over-exaggerating.

Yea, that looks awesome!
The model reminds me of the Angels/Archangels from Diablo 2 (hood, wings, armor, etc.)
Very beautiful indeed!
