Before I sign up for the 10 day trial, i got some questions about canceling the 10 day trial.

 

IV. Subscription Intervals and Canceling an Account

  • You can cancel your account at the Neocron.com and Neocron.de web sites under the 'modify player account' option. In order to cancel the account you need the CD-Key from REAKKTOR.COM that you have used for the activation of your account. If you lost your CD-Key a cancellation is only possible through a fax or a letter that contains the account details because of security reasons. A written cancellation must be personally signed.
So If I want to cancel my 10 day trial would I need a CD-KEY as well or do I have to write or fax a letter to cancel my 10day trial account before I get billed?

 

just want to check the facts before I sign.

    if you want to cancel you had best do it a few days before the trial period is over, if you wait till the last day likely you'll get charged due to the overseas billing crap they use to charge players.  Click2pay or whatever it is now.  Be wary of having to use Credit card info for a trial.  they have changed their account options alot since the game was popular, used to be much easier to get on and play, now they have it so messed up they are itching at the chance to rip people out of their money. Honestly this game isnt worth the hassle.   Look at the games actual forums site, only the 10-20 hardcore players that still play the game post constantly there.  The population of that game left ages ago due to instability and lack of content upgrades that didnt run the game into the ground...buggy... i used to love that game, now i sigh at its hollowed out husk..

    Yeah, that's too bad. I hadn't heard of the game even existing until rather recently. It's too bad I missed its better times. Looks like another ghost of MMOs past.
