This is NOW!

this game has tottaly changed from when it first started till now. after the 2.4 patch everything started to get clear good storylines and everything and lots of thing to do. there are many quests is just totally fun. the recent patch  "nocturnal sonata" the game became more challenging. the increase of the elite mobs rose a challenge to the the players, no more taking it easy lets get this game started! THE 1 HIT KILLS DECREASED. more people found out that they have kept on dying rapidly cuz of the strength of elite mobs. the introduction of polisher equipment gave people strength to conquer the monsters. the there was now a balance in the game no power overpowerment. NOW acctually u can get killed by monsters not like before whereas u do 1 hit kills all the time. u dont see like lvl 20 characters fighting in lvl 30+ areas. u see the level balance in the game. lots of people are now ok with the elite mobs they feel it made the game more challenging for the good of the game. the best thing is that a game this good is FREE with the exeption of OPTIONALY buying cash shop.

NOW i hope to see you guys back in the new world!

Yeah, I agree, they made it harder and (IMHO) more fun early on. But the end game still stinks.

Unless you use cash shop items (AA passes), you're never getting to Expert.

We are working on high level updates. One thing we liked about the Polishes full release in Nocturnal Sonata is it gave players something to strive for that was reasonably obtainable just by doing quests.

We want to work that magic on higher level areas for both our Premium and F2P users. I can't say more about it yet, but Update Patch #4 will be quite a patch ;).

To a large extent though, it's not a lack of content at the end game (given the daily raid events, like Poison Yard), but the fact that a lot of the end game content requires teaming up to do.  Something that I at least have found very hard in the game.

I would say that probably half to two-thirds of the people logged into the game at any given time are either AFKing or in a cash shop pass area (at least based on my experiences with the two clans I've been in now).  And the higher the level they are, the most likely they are to be AFKing (due to the long, long, long grind to Expert).

Sure, giving people better armor would be a good help (It would be great if you could get 92Elite armor just like you could get 92Elite weapons, a trip to the LoD), since it would allow more soloing.  But trying to get people to work together more is probably the real key, since it is after all a MMORPG. or at least something MMO.

Then again, maybe most players are just selfish jerks? I've been playing LOTRO and the difference in community is like night and day.  Then again, maybe it gets worse at high levels, too. But I've grouped more there in 7 games with other players, than I have in 7 months in this game (and I haven't joined a clan/build in LOTRO, either).  And people actually talk to each other.  And are really nice. Somthing I haven't seen much of in Sword. (A lot of silliness in Sword, via broads, but few real conversations)

And another thing that really ruins the end game for a lot of players, are player-botters.

For instance, last night in the patch we got Baek-Ho.  Hours after the patch, someone was bragging that he already was selling a vet one, because he had so many EXP cards he could level up him to vet right away.

I don't know if it was true or not, but it actually could have been true, because the player is probably the most notorious botter on my server (Orpesia).  He and his alt (Cath3rine) have been banned (briefly)  for botting at least once, and he was kicked out of his old clan because of it, but started a new one called the "Autobots". And right after his ban, he would constantly brag about botting and his knowledge of botting. (One member of the official forums actually has a screen scap of him talking about botting).

Anyway, back to last night, a lot of people didn't believe him when he broaded about his vet Baek Ho, so I broaded that given how much he bots, surely he had enough EXP cards to vet a level 1 character almost immediately.  And I must have hit a nerve because he of course made a comment about my sexuality, and then used a profanity. (a variation of the F word, which I guess is acceptable to K2)

Heh, that was actually the most fun I had in the game in ages.  But the gloating and bragging of players like him, who constantly bot and get away with it, is just frustrating. I admire players who work for their gear (or even spend tons on the cash shop) and characters. They should a lot of dedication, which might be unhealthy, but at least is something they've worked for.

Yet again, I got into it with the Autobots, and this time one of their vices admited to it, but dared me to prove it.

I realize K2 doesn't have a lot of manpower. But c'mon, these people are making a mockery of the game and your supposed rules...
