North American Servers

in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

I just started reading up on War, the concept is awesome.  If implementation can match what is promised, it should be a great game.  Saying that, I'm wanting to join up once the game is released.  Problem is that I just moved to South Korea to teach English.  Anyone know of the ability of non-US IPs to get into NA servers? 

I thought I disliked gold farmers before.  Now every MMO thinks I'm one since I have a Korean IP and not allowed into some MMOs.   Hope War isn't going to block IPs too.

      Well...not sure about North American servers - although Mythic has always allowed anyone who has the box to pretty much play on the servers they want (I have friends in Europe who still play DAOC on NA servers - and Camelot does have an 'Eastern" server which has been merged into one of the server groups)

      Your ping might be pretty bad from there though - might want to try it out on one of the localized Australian servers?  Just a thought

    I wouldnt worry. Koreans wont come to farm your gold and sell it.

    the chinese might though.. but if they block anything they'll block chinese IPs not korean ones.

    Thanks for the quick replies and the good news.  I was getting used to anticipating heals in WoW in battlegrounds, so bad ping was another level of difficulty.

    I specifically asked this question to Mark Jacobs on my site.

    Mythic Entertainment will be running the North American servers, and GOA will be running the Euro servers. According to Mark, all you need to do to be able to play on the North American servers is to purchase the North American release of the game.

    Oh yessssssssssssssss, thanks for that info. The thing about the Euro servers is that the English servers get over taken by so many differen't languagesnI'd rather play the US servers where so many more English speakers are.

    Wouldn't  ping issues be reduced if he joins the localized Asian servers?
