I have 1+ year phone/on-site tech and hardware support. I live in Chicago. Unfortnatley I have no degrees outside of H.S. but I am Microsoft Certified.
This is a last-ditch effort. Maybe one of you owns an IT business needs someone who can do remote support or you happen to live in Chicago and want a very reliable and smart tech.
Getting laid off sucks. Economic struggle sucks. Outsourcing sucks.

Ever thought about getting a job with Time Warner? They'll hire you on as a tech support specialist. It isn't much; only 14.95 an hour and free cable/phone/internet.
Good news is their medical benefits is only 20 bucks a month and that includes Dental,Vision, and medical with only a 15 dollar copay.
But then again, if you hate that sorta of job (many people do) have you thought about speaking to a financial aid advisor in a college?
People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.
I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble.
There are a couple sites out there that can help people find jobs, but I am not sure if they are very helpful. Try looking in newspapers, as well.
Hope that helps and good luck.

I find alot of jobs on craigslist and backpage.com. Both sites usually have people hiring immediately, like will want an interview this afternoon. I have had the best luck getting a job or even a response back from those 2 sites. Other sites like monsterjobs, lol good luck.
15 an hour with no college degree is far from bad.

TORT REFORM: I am in favor of "settlement panels". Easy for the judge to look at a "best practice" settlement per offense. Who needs litigation when we can save time and money by cutting out the middle man through "comparative effectiveness"?
