In short there will be housing for every character. Most of it will be instanced.
Not only that but the games come with special things for your house .
The cd rom edition gets you paintings for your house .
THe dvd version gets you talking statues for your house .
The collectors edition gets both of those things and a baby dragon for your house .
You get the house after you leave the starting island
