Looks like another typical korean/asian game -.-, another MuOnline smash n stab type thing with predetermined character skins and only 3 classes to choose from, I fricken hate these games with a passion, I refuse to play any of them.
Edit: These games are pretty much for people who don't know how to play real MMORPGs
"Life is not judged by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."
Its another free to play asian item mall grinder the same as most all of them. They let you get to level 20 at an ok pace and then the grind sets in after. The community is a bunch of crap talkers and for the most part you will be playing the game solo.
I see the same statements you all are saying about the P2P titles out there. let's see Eq2, Eve, Lineage II, COH, COV. etc. etc.
We hate those games for other reasons, F2p are almost unplayable, support is almost non existent (good luck getting help with harassment) there is usually no real story to any of them. You have to pay to advance when you get to a certain point and for what? It's all just a money making scheme for these companies who are probably backed by the credit sellers. I have more fun playing free MSN games TBH.
Humm no! reading the threads for the other P2P games they are for the same reasons.
1. no end game content
2. after level 30 the game gets boring
3. Graphics are lacking
4. Grinding and more grind or the game is to easy
5. no balance PVP
6. How do I turn off spamming in these games
7. all the gold farmers in these games
8. no body will group with me
9. I hate sony and the list goes on
Everyone complains about the same thing over and over again. New threads are created saying the same thing over and over again. Maybe I am missing the other reasons you mentioned.
Frankly its horrible no structure to the game at all. There are quests but there the usual "go kill 10 generic meat bags" and good luck on finding the quest givers seeing theres no actual help in seeking them out. The graphics are horrid and the colour pallet seems to be all slate greys and browns (may as well be black and white) . Character creation is as always in FtP games very lacking but 12 skys makes it even worse with that horribly boring colour pallet.

isn't this game is for 18+ well if you are (i assume) then you have the knowledge of an adult, atleast act like one.
Every game have their own style, developer can't satisfied for everyone, when everybody have their own kind of MMORPG in their mind. You can't say i want a game that have the WOW type with some little bit of that & that..

F2P MMOs feel like knock offs to the real thing. The quality just isn't there and that's the bottom line.
Why are some of these new people here so touchy about F2P? Almost all the normal posters here agree they lack in a lot of areas. Better to play an MMO with 1 or 2 things lacking, then everything lacking.
i think this game is great. the grind isn't terrible until you're a really high level, such as 100+. i just hit 100 today, and the PVP is great. imagine 3 different factions just running at each other and attacking each other with all their buffs on, their armor and weapon. compared to other games, twelve sky is great. PLAY IT!

Thank you for focusing purely on the negative points.
Now if you gave the game a chance and got to the RvR/PvP system, this is where it really gets interesting. the PvP is so different from other games, it recuires real tactics and skill, and depends a lot less on th 'awesome setup' - so everyone can PvP and still have a good time doing so.
Yes i agree the quest system is somewhat lacking, but the real gem of twelve sky isn't the solo grind or the 'colour pallet' as you so adequately put it (which is varied for each faction btw..) , its the pvp.
1. The PvP can be and generally really is unbalanced player wise.
2. Classes where fairly unbalanced as well. All 3 factions basicly have the same 3 classes but they are unballanced still. One class (unless its changed) can make a one shot one kill build for ranged, while another factions ranged is by far the worse in the game.
3. The RvR rewards can even further imballance the factions. 30-49 rewards are 2x xp pills. 50-69 was either cash or items I cant remember. 70-89 was whichever 50-69 wasnt. There was an open world PvP area that gives you an xp bonus if you capture the area, and at least when I left once you captured that area, it was yours. So if you have the most players (zerg worked more than tactics) you have all the bonuses which will put you way ahead of the competition.
4. The community. Overall it was horrible.
5. The grind. Dont let people fool you, the grind is no better than most other asian grinders.
6. Skill books, Items, cash ect. The drop rates are AWEFULL. In closed beta the drop was 4x and it was somewhat easy to get upgrades. Once they dropped it to even 2x in open beta you notice a HUGE diffrence. I'm sorry but its just not fun to find between 1-5 items in your first 15 levels. Generally thoes items couldnt even be used by you.
7. Its a pill (hp potion) spamming type of PvP. You either got a couple solid crits in or you just hope you have more pills than the person your fighting.
With all that said, I had fun in Twelve Sky in closed beta, and for maybe a week or 2 in open beta. After that I started to realise yes, it is just another typical asian grinder with a small twist on the pvp.
Worst online game I've ever played. I tried it and its a korean grinder.
Most people create 2 or 3 characters. The first character levels to 100 and just kills stuff for money or items. The 2nd or 3rd characters refuse to level up and sit in the pvp zones with 1 hit kill equipment supplemented by their main.
What does this mean? Forget pvp until your second or third character. Selling items is a nightmare that requires your computer to stay on ALL NIGHT. Buying items is ridiculous since it's so hard to find the stuff in the first place...no one's gonna sell it.
I deleted my character, put a note in their suggestions forum, and never looked back.
I played this game an hour or two but I got bored. Simply because it reminded me of 9Dragons (the swordfighting at least) and in my opinion Acclaim did a better job than AeriaGames. So I say if you want to download the game because of the Martial Arts, don't, get 9Dragons instead.
The game overall for a MMO is fair. Aeria has policed the game well enough to make the experience of playing relatively pleasant, (few bots and hackers), exploits and cheaters are dealt with quickly and harshly. PvP is an interesting aspect of the game although unbalanced at best and high level grinding is a real turn off. The community environment is domminated by intimidating ruthless mall item people who control the upper levels of the game and treat the game as a fiefdom. There have been some very nice people I have run into in game. If you want a crowd of 20 and younger people, this is your game.
Today I downloaded the client, and have spent most of the afternoon playing it. Not much time to judge a game, I know, but for what it is worth, here are my opinions.
Like most Asian MMO's, it seems to be mainly about the grind. You don't get offered a quest until you reach level 14.
The graphics are okay, and the combat system is rather fun.
The community is a big let down. The chat channels are filled with gold spammers, and for a new player, it is very hard to get anyone to answer even a simple question, so God knows how difficult it will be to group (which is important in later levels).
In saying that though, if you like games such as Lineage 2, and don't have the funds to pay for a subscription, then I would recommend it.
well you didnt get to 14 dont judge games like that and if i gms are on the gold spammers will go awaygreat game i remembered my pass people suck who say they hated it its really good easy lvling no grind fest...
ya i agree, this is basiclly a ripoff of 9dragons. same grind, same graphics, same gameplay, same bordem. i quit a long time ago. but,if u like it, fine with me. i played a day till i quit. i would rate it a 6.3/10

I have played it (only for a short while) it did not impress me in the slightest.
Generally speaking it is pretty poor when compared with the many other titles available.
Some might like it, granted, but I, for one, do not.
