GameSpy is reporting that Square Enix, maker of Final Fantasy XI, is working on a new PC-only MMORPG entitled Fantasy Earth: Ring of Domination. What little information there is can be seen here.
Also, click here for images from this upcoming title. Release is currently on track for 2005.

The characters may all look like kids, but the female character is well stacked. SquareEnix definitely put more care in that area. The game still looks pretty great. The graphics actually looked better then FFXI with cleaner, sharping lines. If it does come out in 2005, it will probably be for Japan market first and depending on how well it sells, come to the U.S. shores in 2006. I'd give it a try though.

I'll keep an eye on it and probably become emersed in another Square-enix mmorpg just to get very very frustrated at it's lack o content / player control / customization.
I like the look, but I said that about FFXI and got me into trouble.
I'll probably import it like I did FFXI when that started :P
Well, the movie looked nice enough but I will wait until they show some 100% in game moves and not those "we made a movie out of it" thing.
I agree on the characters figures they definitely have this "youth" problem you find so often in eastern productions.
To be honest hearing from it here and now for the first time, seening the online content so far and putting that in perspective with a 2005 release date I have my doubts that there will be much in game content.

I'm looking forward to seeing how this game will develop. From the few screens that are out it looks interesting and the idea of mixing rts and rpg seems interesting as well. we'll just have to see when more info (and maybe beta!) comes around
