Just checked my Beta info for the heck of it. I had not received an email....nothing. Low and behold....it said I was invited in the closed beta! Sweeeeetttttt!!!! So, word to the wise, just check your status again to make sure!
Downloading the files right now! Guess I will be absent from....well, everything...for a while now. See ya there!!!

This thread makes me cry. Been signed up for ages with 3 different accounts, still nothing. I just wanna play the game so bad
Well seeing the min. req's I know why I am not in, and wont make it in CB. Laptop only has 1gig ram though I make all the other requirements. New laptop will be here in another day or two so I will update my DX when I get that. Ah well, $45 to upgrade this one to 2 gig ram and I will have 2 laptops that will run it just fine.
The three different accounts might be part of your problem. . .don't assume they don't check that stuff.

Well, all 3 were from different IP's, 3 different computers and 3 different DxDiag files, so I somehow doubt that. I guess I'm just really unlucky.
The three different accounts might be part of your problem. . .don't assume they don't check that stuff.
Yeah I would think so.. You do know that when you submit your computer specs that your computer # is also on there.

I have been playing the beta for almost a month and I never got an email either. Just noticed it in beta center one day.
Just FYI to the others waiting....I have been signed up since day ONE of the beta center...and just now got this good news....sooooo keep the faith!

Fileplanet is stating they have a "stupendously huge" open beta coming. Anyone want to guess which game that may be?

Wow.. i read this thread and figured I should check the beta center too, never got an email... And i'm also in the beta (wonder how long i've been in and just not known it).
Of course i'm on vacation in japan at my inlaws with a crappy laptop for the next 2.5 weeks..
I'm not suppose to be looking forward to finishing vacation! DAMN IT ALL! Guess i'll have to drink more so i can forget and enjoy myself till then
I also have been signed up since the first week.
Just enjoy the vacation.
WAR will be around for a loooong time

I agree, but as we've seen lately, Fileplanet has weaseled in on every mmo beta they can. What is worse is even in the description the guy gives, the selling point of using FP for beta is "Get to play the game before anyone else!", not testing the game. Yet companies still use it to find beta "testers".

I've been in beta's that used FP as a host and in that capacity they are good. At least I've never had speed issues with them.. Now if you mean the community you tend to get as the members gets priority.. then ya fileplanet can be bad at times. AoC was a great example of what can go wrong with Fileplanet.
If you've been in WAR beta for long... and you know how they run it.. can you imagine how many people would get banned in the first day or two? LOL

To the OP, Grats. Open Beta is justttt around the corner according to many sites. Release date is rumored to be on September 23, and the headstart for those that pre-ordered the collection's edition should be on the September 20 (although i heard it may be on the 18th). You figure OB will be a month before release, so that sets the date for OB to start on August 20. I could be wrong in my guess (and i probably am) but atleast we all know that war is coming soon.
