Any tips on leveling a dragon?

Anyone have some good positive advice on how to level a dragon up. If you are going to say don't do it then please don't waste your time in replying to this, I only am looking for help. If you have a dragon and have been leveling it up I would like some advice from your experience.

Also, I heard that in C2 it will be easier to level the dragons. Has anyone else heard of this? And if you have, do you know if it is true??

    First of all

    Are you a clan leader?

And do you own one of the castles right now?

If not...then your question sorta ends there hehe

there is no point to even own a dragon until C2 first of all.  secondly, there is no point in having a dragon unless your clan owns a castle, because with the castle comes incubators which auto-level your dragon for you.  until that point, they are garbage, like the rest of the game.

Do you know for a fact that their are incubaters that auto level the dragon??
Because if that is true, then that is awesome and it helps answer my question.

I don't want to waste time trying to level a dragon up if that is true.

hehe i dont think you understand fully

I would take leveling a dragon anyday Versus running a clan with enough clan points to succesfully raid a castle and then owning it for the duration in which the dragon is raised.  There's only like 4 castles in the entire server and with all the power level chinese adena farmers, you'll have more odds winning a State Lottery.

    ....and I am not exaggerating

You don't need to be a clan leader, or even in a clan that owns a castle, to get a riding/flying dragon.

It was said in the patch notes for chronicle 2.

As of right now you have to be a clan leader to have a mature dragon.  If your clan owns a hideout your dragon can mature to strider.

I have been keeping tabs on the patch notes, and if you could please point me in the direction of the information that says you can own a mature dragon with out being a clan leader, I would very much appreciate it.  Everyhting  I have read says that you must be a clan leader and you must have a castle.  I have read no where that the incubator auto levels the hatchling for you, everything I have read says that it allows you to develop your dragon to maturity.  I may be wrong (I truly hope I am), but like I said I try to keep a close eye on teh C2 patch notes.

IMO it is worth it to level your dragon as far as you can right now.  If nothing else, you can prob sell a strider to a clan leader that wants his own flying dragon ASAP foir a boat load of cash.  Best bet is to get him/her good armor and a good weapon and sick him on stuff that is level 35 +.  He/she will level but it is slow.

    Cheers!

If you want a new idea, go read an old book.

In order to be insulted, I must first value your opinion.
