3. Housing, now this may not be important to others but i realy love decorating and collecting stuff, we have a kinship meeting almost every sunday and its always tons of fun to be together in the kinship house we make music drink and eat and have lots of fun.
4. The world, exploring the GFX in this game are so wel done its just a pleasent to walk around in middle earth .

Pretty much sums it up for me as well, but I would like to add the incredible attention to detail. Sometimes it's the small things that make you go "wow cool"!
I'm acutually scanning my pc for some virus/spywares and since it'll take a long time i'd like to ask u guys these few questions:
What do u like about LOTRO? Why are u playin it? What attracted u abou this game?
1, The amount of content the game provides, graphics and the loot you find not to mention craft for your character is pretty good. The community is really good.
2. I'm playing it because I'm tired of playing F2P mmos that provide minimal content, the game is really fun and plus I always been a fan of the movies.
3. Attraction: Because its Lotro, one of the greatest licences of all time, it only costs me $9.99 a month to play, again the content is so much more than most mmos I have played and the fact that Lotro will keep on expanding content.
The pace of advancement. The questing system. The toon development. The community. Turbine. The look and feel. The classes. The events (though there need to be more GM run events!!!) and PVPMP.
Why are u playin it?
It is fun, at least imho. Turbine is doing quite a few things very, very right.
What attracted u abou this game?
The history(lotr) and a reccommendation of a trusted friend.
Sheer number of Quests, community, fun casual-friendly pace, and it doesn't ever seem to feel repetitive.
Why are u playin it?
Same as above.. Though mostly because of the GREAT community, the server I am on I see people everywhere(definently not underpopulated) and have not met one "bad" person.
What attracted u abou this game?
Lore, I have read all the books(including the Hobbit) and watched all the movies(looking forward to the new movie about The Hobbit ). Also the casual friendly pace, as I have a full-time job wife and kid to care of so I am not able to spend more than 4 hours a day on the game.
"The fact that most of the player base knows that "you" is a three letter word..."
That made me laugh out loud.
I play the game first and foremost because I am a huge fan of the BOOKS.
I also enjoy the fact that when I am logged into the game I am not inundated with moronic "n00b" wars...you all know what I mean.
Also, I enjoy the casual pace of the game. I can log in for an hour or several hours and I never feel rushed or feel like I am falling behind in some BS race to level cap.
The game looks amazing as well, although I still have not seen any weather effects, for some reason that has been bothering me for the past few weeks, but no bother.
All in all the game is very well done. That's why I play.
That Guild Wars 2 login screen knocked up my wife. Must be the second coming!

weather effect that are in there trust me, rain and snow I almost think they vary the rain to the time of year. I got caught in some the other day in N Downs. Snow of course is pretty regular in Forochel and Misty Mountains.
Back to the OP I was attracted by the license, who does not love the best Fantasy series of all time. I stayed because of the community and Turbines Customer Service and the sheer amount of content.
I love the fact that the outside world is completely seamless (with the expection of that Ered Luin gate, let's hope they do The Tower Hills one day), the way the zones seamlessly blend into each other you can run or ride a horse all the way from Angmar or Forochel all the way to the Misty Mountains and not encouter a single loading screen (are you listening, Age of Conan), all the while enjoying the beautiful landscapes and the great sunsets/sunrises

I have to concur, the weather is definitely there, especially in the snowy areas. You can get "white out" conditions where you can barely see ahead of you....which is quite a pain when trying to quest in certain areas. The last thing you want to do is to not know how to get out of an area should you need to run, only to find yourself running into a cliff rather than a clear road out.
2. New content is added several times a year and I'm talking new land masses and 100's of new quests
3. Servers are full of people and 99.9% are mature and kind
Why are u playin it?
1. Because I thoroughly enjoy it and haven't gotten bored yet. Been playing since Jan 07
What attracted u abou this game?
1. Not the Lore LOL! I wasn't planning on playing this game because I never liked that series of books. I saw a screenshot here on MMORPG and it was GORGEOUS! I was awed by that screenie and applied for the Beta. I was so impressed with the game I did a Lifetime Membership for $199 the day it went live.

Yeah i've noticed that they put much attention in details... Especially with NPCs around
