Eq Beta Requirements

With the chance to play the EQ Beta, I would assume that many are out to log in and sign up for the site like I did. After reading that I am unable to Hype up EQ...which I think is too low at a 7.9, (Sony is playing commercials for it at local movie theaters...) I found that there is a very distinct rating system for the users.
How are they going to choose the people for the EQ beta giveaway...
Whats stopping old members from dominating all 20...and new members (me) playing Solitare?
Can I raise my status...or is it just a time thing?

I'm going to assume you mean EQ2, and not EQ.
Random, the more times you log in the more chances you have to win.
Nothing, everyone has the same chance to win.
The more times you post constructive posts your rating will go up. To hype games, you only need a rating of 5(?) I think.. which you can get with just a few posts.

I think what he means is what prevents veterens who login each day from getting more chances when a newbe who only has a few logins dont get that bonus chance to becuase hes hasen't login in as much
If i remember right its well give up to 5 extra chances but your odd are still not with you since your right tons of people well sign up just to get that single chance.
Also I agree, EQ2 rating should be waaaay higher.
This contest is going to be so bad i'm 17 but my birthday is in november the should accept me but tey aren't, that friggin blows I really think I have a better chance in winning then other ppl becaus I am the man.

Hey it's just a chance, its just a game. Granted it would be fun to be in the beta test and be able to see if I would like to ultimately play eq2 before buying the whole thing, but so be it. I'm still having fun in EQlive so its keeping me off the streets.
What will he do next?
I have a very optimistic outlook about things. So I just always say "it will happen." I will be in the beta, I will, I will!!
