Mid is where it's at.  I mean VIKINGS!  you can't go wring with VIKINGS!

No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-

I'll stick to playing a Highlander... I mean I wear kilts out of the game on a regular basis, what race could be better for me?

I'll probably go mid. I've always liked the look of the realm. I played a lot of alb too and some hib, but I doubt I'll do hibs.

I never really played a theurgist as main for alb, but just curious, why are they dumping the class? It can't be only to have even number of classes.

I for one never liked the theurgist class for a few reasons.  Every time I had the misfortune of meeting one on my own no matter what class I was I was dead.  Now I know someone will say "well you just suck" but you need to understand that a theurgist can pump out pets by the dozens.  Their ice pets would nuke you to death while the air pets would perma stun you.  It was the only stun that was not affected by the immunity timer and the pets themselves had enough hit points to survive any of your attacks long after you're dead.  Not to mention the caster would be at range so unless you were an archer or assassin who can get to them you wouldn't even do any damage to them.  Even then there was a damn good chance you were dead.

I for one am glad they are gone.

I wanted to interject, on topic and off...

On topic, I am currently concerned about the status of Origins with Mythic's recent announcement about postponing even testing the concept.

Off topic, I hate my Theurg.  It is one of the worst classes to play IMO, sadly I am the Theurg for my 8 man.  Yes, you can take just about anyone down if you get the drop on them and 2 theurgs can lock down an entire caster group, but they just suck to play.  Also, don't judge theurgs on their ability in BGs either, they are supremely overpowered in that environment, just like BDs.

I dabbled a bit with a BD but found it to be just another pet class, and pet classes always get me into trouble..... damn pets, they never listen.  I've even played a theurgist for a while just to see for myself what it's all about, get a better understanding and what not.  This was back in the day before TOA and even then I found them to be lacking in fun.  I sat up in the hills near Snowdonia Station I think it was called killing spiders that were red to me without much effort.  It did take most of my mana bar but it was worth it since I kill a spider, sit down and rest, and chat with a buddy and then kill another.  I would hate to play them in RvR and I hate fighting them, especially on my warrior.
