ATHENS - A 31-year-old Greek beheaded his girlfriend and carried her head around the popular tourist island of Santorini before he was arrested, police said on Sunday.

The man, who police said had psychological problems, injured a police officer and two women while trying to escape arrest after killing the 25-year-old teacher in Greece's most picturesque island.

"He was walking around, carrying her head and telling the astonished villagers not to stop him," a police official told Reuters. "They knew he had psychological problems ... but they didn't expect he would reach this point."

Not another beheading story.  We're going to get horror fatigue.

im thinking if you have the gall to kill someone premeditavely, you might as well behead them and walk around a tourist village with it to ensure a cozy facility and medications.

sickos are people too. we should execute them like any sane person.

never underestimate the power of the human brain to outhink the law.

GOIANIA, Brazil - The Brazilian man accused of killing and dismembering a British teenager and stuffing her torso in a suitcase confessed to the murder on Friday in a deposition to police, his lawyer said.

“He confessed,” Odair de Meneses said, referring to Mohamed D’Ali Carvalho Santos. “But he is not fully responsible for his acts because he was taking drugs nonstop during the four days prior to the killing.”

As horrible as all of this is, I just can't help but laugh. I guess it was the part about him walking around with the head afterwards and the fact that this is the second beheading in less than a week that got to me.

I guess posting news stories is the new thing that is "in".  Cause ive seen like 10 of these news story posts in the past week or so.  And wtf, Its not his fault he killed someone because he was high on meth?  What is that shit?  It is still the drunk drivers fault when he kills someone even though he is drunk.

    Some laws are stupid.

Until we set trial and hang some of these freaks instead of giving them psychiatric help in the state hospital or more lenient sentences, we're going to continue to read about this stuff in the papers.  String up a few of these violent 'tards and see if the message gets through to some of the rest of them out there.
