Yes I think so also. I played EQ2 for a year and couple months. The game use to be good but got boring quickly with the same thing over and over. Raiding to get gear that was only slightly better and everything in the game seems to have the same armor models used even for raid gears. It is sad but that was the main thing that made me quit was having to work so hard for new armor sets but have the same models as someone who crafted or got quest gear at low levels.

I'm pretty sure if you downloaded it with the living legacy event then yes you get to keep it. (They will not be turning it off.) If however for some reason you unistalled the game and decided to reinstall it you might not get the expansion packs downloaded again now that living legacy event is over.

I just wanted to chime in and mention that this is not true. Once you received access to the Living Legacy promo your account was flagged as owning that expansion and it's yours permanently, regardless of uninstalls.
I'm sorry but i doubt they will give you the RoK expansion for free.Tthis expansion is expensive. 40 or 50 $ you had it for free as a "trial" in the living legacy but you probably need to buy it if you want to play it from now on.

I think you meant: "If I subscribe, will the exp I earned while playing during Living Legacy still apply to my characters?"
If so, I think the answer is yes.
