    I'd so have to say Night Elf. Part os the reason as with so many gamers  have an affinity with Elves. Even with that aside though I simply love the sense of style the race has. Also when all things are hammered out Bliz is still sayin' they'll have the Shadow Meld added and that would be a very kool advantage to have over the other races.

    I had a Lvl 18 Night Elf Hunter w/ a Lvl 18 MoonStalker & Savanah Lion as pets. It was so cool, to me the combination of an Elf as a hunter w/ pets is just awsome. Maybe thats why I like to play Wood Elf Rangers in table top RPG's.

    Id have to say nightelves their starting area is just too beautiful compaired to all the others and the char models look FAR FAR better then human/dwarf/gnome(gasp) models. Not to mention the female NE dance is hella sexy image But 70% of the servers will probabaly be playing Nightelves so they will be very very very over crowded.

    I'm with you on that one khas001 ... I've always liked playing tree huggers when ever I could image ...so the night elf hunter was the clear choice for me (thought about druid, but didn't like the mechanics of the class).

       However, realizing that the night elf race is going to be much coveted, I've decided to pack my bags at an early level and leave the elvish home land for the mountain lakes of thelsamar.

     It was peaceful and quiet there during stress test so I will return once again when retail hits.

    For open beta, I will be experimenting with something new ... perhaps a warlock, not sure about the race though....
