What is Numen Legionis? No we aren’t named after the guy from Seinfeld. Before the Romans adopted the religion of the Greeks, they believed that there was a divine power or presence in places and objects. They called this presence Numina. Numen is the singular form of Numina. Roughly translated, Numen Legionis means Spirit Legion.
Numen Legionis is an Order guild in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. It is loosely based off of the Roman design of government. We have a senate that works hand in hand with the Dux, guild leader, to establish and implement guild rules and regulations. Much like the Roman Legions, we are ever evolving so that we too can become a force to be reckoned with. We pride ourselves in our adaptability and openness, as well as our respect for the members within our guild. We believe that taking a structured approach in our guild development has helped ensure that we will be successful both on the battlefield and in the hearts of our members. Our goal is to be a well respected guild that makes a significant impact on the world. However, we will not sacrifice fun, friendship and our real lives for the number one spot in the game. We know that some of our guild members work full-time, go to school, raise families, or a combination of these things. We do not want them to feel excluded or ostracized from the guild because of their real life situations. We do the best we can to maintain a game/life balance that works best for the guild and everyone involved. Strength and honor are our guides, friendship forges our path, and pride establishes our goals. Long live the Legion.

Recruiting is still open to anyone interested in joining a guild focused on impacting the server via PvE and RvR. Join our ranks and lead one of our legions into battle, help develop our treasury, or help us evolve into the best guild possible. We're looking for mature players that are wanting to create a community that thrives on excellence, fun, competition and making the realm the best it can be.

Good Luck xD
Someone has to take on the Destruction. Hopefully you'll be on my realm so I can add my screenshot of your corpse to our Kicking Ass, Taking Names gallery. The more of you that are destruction, the more unique screenshots I'll get of your rotting corpses.
Now that I have a break from work, I'd like to properly introduce Numen Legionis.
Who We Are

Members
We are looking for dedicated and mature players that want to establish a community that thrives on excellence, fun, competition, and making the realm the best it can be. We have no minimum age because maturity isn’t directly related to age. If you are looking to obliterate the Destruction, sack their city, steal their keeps, and take on the PvE dungeons all while having fun with a good group of people, Numen Legionis is there for you.
Oh…I forgot to mention, if you’re looking forward to trying to destroy the Destruction noobs as chickens, you’ll be in good company. Chicken raids will be organized frequently.
General Expectations
• Fun will not be sacrificed for glory, but glory will be achieved if we all work together.
• Members will be placed in positions that will best benefit the guild as well as the member. Those who don’t want responsibility will not have it thrust upon them.
• The forums will be the official source of guild related information. This information will be reflected within the game so far as it is allowed.
• Communication is paramount. Utilization of the forums will ensure that the guild is a cohesive unit.
• The website will be updated frequently with new information and screenshots.
• We will be using a voice chat system, but it will not be required.
Guild Colors
• The guild colors are based off of the Roman Colors. They will be red, yellow (gold), silver and black. Members will be encouraged, but not forced, to utilize the guild colors especially when battles or sieges are taking place. This is so our members are easily recognizable should we get split up. Also gives the sense of a uniformed team.
Ranks
• Apprentice- Introductory members. They do not have access to guild member privileges. Once they have proven their dedication and loyalty to the guild, they will become a Legionnaire.
• Legionnaire- General guild member. They have access to the member’s only forums as well as access to some of the in-game guild member features. Access to which features will be solidified once the game has been released.
• Optio- Sergeant in the guild. They have access to the same features the Legionnaire’s do. They are allowed to vote on Senators.
• Centurion- Lieutenant in the guild. These low level officers have access to the officer’s forums. They are allowed to recruit.
• Praefectus Castrorum (Prefect)- Captain in the guild. Prefects will be specialists in different aspects of the game. These officers will have better than average knowledge in game specifics, such as crafting, PvE encounters, specific classes, etc. Questions regarding the inner-workings of the game as well as the guild will be available from a Prefect.
• Legatus Legionis (Legate)- General in the guild. They are responsible for resolving disputes between guild members. They are official representatives of the guild, as such they are in charge when the Dux is not available. They work hand in hand with the Dux to create offensive and defensive strategies. Help the Dux place guild members in positions that best fill the needs of the guild as well as the needs/wants of the guild members.
• Dux- Guild Leader. The Dux is tasked with organizing the guild as a whole. His main responsibility is ensuring that the guild is working as a cohesive unit. He is open to any and all suggestions to develop the guild and has an open door policy. He works hand in hand with the Senate on matters that affect the entirety of the guild. He does not have the ability to vote for a senator nor can he be a senator. He works to improve relationships with other guilds. He works with the Legate to develop military strategies.
• Aquilifier- This is a special rank that any full-fledged member can obtain. They are the standard bearer. They will be chosen based off of their merits as a member and their ability to handle themselves in combat. Any member can nominate another member to be an Aquilifier. The Aquilifier is chosen by the Senate and the Dux.
• Signifier- This is the treasurer. Any officer can be a Signifier. The Signifier is tasked with developing and implementing ways for the guild to generate money. They report directly to the Dux. Any officer can nominate another officer to become a Signifier. They are voted in by the Senate.
Senate
• Senator- Senators vote Signifiers into and out of office. They have access to the Senate forums. Within these forums they discuss any and all ideas that are generated from the members for improving the guild. They vote on these changes and implement them. They also vote on ratifying guild rule changes and allocations of guild resources.
• A council that speaks on issues that are brought up from within the guild.
• There will always be an even number of Senators.
• In the event of a tie, the Dux will be the tie breaker.
• They will vote on resolutions.
• Senators will have a term of 2 months.
• A Senator can keep their position as long as they are voted into office.
Legions
• Legions are our battle groups. There are some distinct characteristics to our Legion System that are available, at this time, only to members. Each of our legions will have a unique name and can be lead into battle by any qualifying member. More information will be disclosed closer to the release of WAR.
Member of the Month
• The member of the week will be a section on the website that gives a brief bio of the character that has been selected for this honor. A screenshot of the character will be placed in member of the month page with a link to their bio. Their accomplishments and contributions to the guild will also be listed. Prizes will be handed out to the winners.
Kicking Ass, Taking Names
• There is a section on the website for posting screen shots of members killing players from the Destruction side. It is a record of who has died by our hands.
Screenshot of the Week
if this guild works out it'll be amazing, true roleplay, good luck
Thanks! I've only had the past..oh...2 years to be thinking about it. I've incorporated things from the past that worked well in guilds I have ran, as well as trying new things that I have come up with. The basis of the guild will be strong at least. My two older brothers, my girlfriend, and some of her family will be in the guild. So we get to start out with a close knit group of people that are familiar with each other. Good luck to you in your gaming endeavors.
Edit:
I saw in your profile that you live in Lakewood, CO. I grew up in Lakewood. I even went to Patterson Elementary school for several years. I loved Lakewood! Too bad I had to move because of parents.
Thanks for the apps. Three new members have joined us since yesterday. Our newest members are: Crackrjax, Llystra and Exiledpunk. Welcome one and all.
Welcome to the guild Seige. We're still recruiting. Thanks to MJ for letting us CE guys into the CB next week. I can't wait. Get ready to die Destruction...especially you squig herders.
Welcome to the guild Jeiki, BakedWizard, and Primus.
I posted an application for you guys. I originally wanted destruction but it just seems like it is going to be way overpopulated.
I've submitted my ap. as well... Sounds like my kind of guild.
Edit: Quick note I didn't think of before... Is this gonna be an Open RvR or Core RvR guild?
Any thoughts on when I might get an update on whether or not I am accepted?
Forgive me if I somehow missed this but do you or will you have Ventrilo?
Sorry for the delay Mett and Moogleboy. I was on vacation for the weekend, but I have sent you both responses. We will be an open RvR server, most likely an RP one becasue there are usually more mature players on those types of servers. Welcome to the guild. Judge, yes we do have a vent server. One of our generous members has donated his Vent server for our use. Drop me a line or visit our website if you're interested in joining Judge.
Welcome to the guild Trajan. Have fun and kill some Destruction.
Anyone interested in destroying the destruction, specifically large destruction guilds such as Anti-Sanctus Chaotica, check us out.
Thank you all for the applications. We are still recruiting. Anyone in the CE closed beta that is interested in joining a guild, look me up.
Welcome our newest members, Perjj and Demonyx.
Thanks for the bump. I'd also like to welcome our newest member Amanthea.
Also, because some have thought it is, i should mention this guild is not a role playing guild, however roleplaying is allowed it is not the focus of the guild, the guild is gonna role on an rp server hoping for less shenanigans.
