And for the Billionth time I was playing VANGUARD during THE FREE MONTHS because IT WAS FREE you are so quick to say someone is downing Vanguard when in my first post on the matter never was a downplay of VANGUARD other then its NOT ALL buttons people on this DAMN forum keep posting. Its so hilarious how you are always around to defend Vanguard. If you believe what u say to be true then you should care less what i say but yet u keep coming back for more and more and more. Also what you need to understand is that we play at differant times. I'm in the US and if your profile is correct you are in Sweden. More times then not when your playing im sleeping and vise versa.

Well i guess you got me, its all he said she said. KABLAAM! IN MY FACE!! but when information is incorrect i will defend my statement to the bitter end or at least until i stop opening the thread.
The thread's being considerably derailed by two parties who are both exaggerating their side of the argument a bit. Cooler heads are needed; it's just a forum argument about a computer game's population. If the two parties could take it to PMs then that would be great for everyone else.

Hmmm...I thought I saw somewhere 3 POSITIVE points.
1)Crafting.. I love that it's just not pick and item and how many you want to make than get up and do something else for 15 minutes. I hate that style of crafting. Plus I love the fact that you can add different things to make more unique items.
2)The world is huge w/o instancing...so much to explore and so little time. With all this I experience very little lag. I can deal with the quick jolt when crossing server lines, much less disturbing than staring at a loading screen.
3) So much choice of what to do...as an altaholic I don't think I'll ever be able to get everything done. If you don't feel like fighting, you can do diplomacy. Get tired of arguing with soldiers, you can craft. It's been a long time since I've found an MMO that gives you so much freedom.
Yeah it's still buggy, but not enough to be game breaking. And before anyone says "but the new people won't stay." I am one of the new people, it's a great game with lots of potential.
As to the population issue, I play on Xeth during both late afternoons and primetime, during varying days of the week (oh, and I am in the SW US). I have not had a single issue with finding a group at the lower levels and chat is always hopping. Sure I'm not fighting off spawn campers, or tripping over hundreds of bored adventurers, but I like it that way.
Well here's my take on the game, with pros and cons--
The game is freakin' huge, but not balanced. Example, the newbie areas. I've started several toons on all 3 continents and I find myself migrating to Qalia I think it's called. (the sorta arabic starting city, I'm hell shit with names) I migrate there because the qests are more linear, shorter traveling distances, and easier to find. I don't mind having to earn my progression, but I do mind when it feels like "work".
The easiest most solo friendly game ever. Out of all my toons I've yet to come across any that can't solo. Some are better than others, but they are all capable- which is a rarity to find in other games. However, some like many other games there is the FLOTM class that will get nerfed back to what the devs see as "balanced" to the rest. (currently its the DK)
Crafting is unique, not better than SWG's pre NGE, but unique.
Now this is my biggest bitch and my biggest dislike about the game. It takes to long to make simple usable shit. I UNDERSTAND the concept and all that non-sense behind why it's designed the way it is. But it's just to freakin' tedious and time consuming to do simple shit. I understand that it gets easier at higher levels as you can make more than one item at a time however it doesn't change the fact that it's one hell of a farked up tediously boring grind to get anywhere or anything useful out of crafting for a good while.
WoW was stupidly simple, but at least as a newbie crafter you could get use out of it for at least outfitting yourself, but so far across 10 toons and experimenting with all the crafting professions I can't say that for Vanguards crafting at the low levels.
Crafting is really my only complaint though, the rest of the game is better than anything else currently available IMHO.

I think that since you are only here for the free month you already have your mind made up. I like the game and I think everyone should give it a try and not listen to anyone' s opinion about the game. But for finding groups you can it may tak longer that you are willing to take but the groups are out there. I play a rogue on Xeth and have met quite a few people to group with but I prefer soloing.
I actually think I've changed my mind about quiting...At least for now....
I'll try out the whole (exploring a continent thing)
If anyone does read my post, and is thinking about buying Vanguard...Watch for the grind.
