Hello my Vanguardians..yes, I just invented a new word.
I am sorry to say I will be unsubscribing from Vanguard
I had a good time with my guild, and it was fun while it lasted, but it is time to move on.
I have suddenly lost interest...PvE oriented game was nothing but a grind and raids...I just lost interest an couldn't bare to play any longer.
I have moved on to L2, where the grind is hardcore, but I hear the PvP is great. I will miss all of my beloved Vanguardians, and I hope to see you again sometime in an MMO.

Too sad! I'm also loose interest only from PvE. Its nice that I combine it with PvP games and so its ok.
Where themepark games try to hide that they are copying WOW, games like Mortal Online and Darkfall make no attempt to hide their inspiration

Haha. Thats rich, L2 being great in pvp. Anyway, I don't play vanguard, but I do know that L2 is not a PvP game. I've played L2 for about a year into their release, and it was the most dissapointing game I've ever played. Not only do they have a lack of regard for the satisfaction of the customer, but that was the most gold farmers I've ever seen, on top of that the customer service did nothing about it. You couldn't even kill them with out getting a stupid red hostile thing above your head, marking your death for everyone with out penalty. Endgame, everyone has the same armor, no strategy, just mindless hacking away, and the grind like you said. The grind is epic, it's not worth it at all.

Agreed, You couldn't of said it any better, that is why I have also quit the first year into release.
mmorpg's flop faster then mcdonalds cheese burgers these days.
Yeah thats why i quit, vanguard had great graphics and ideas i evern put up with the terrible performance.
I just found the pve boring after a while.

I played lineage II and I dont think your going to like playing that game unless you lke cheating. About 75 % of the players bot in that game and the GM will not stop them.
I hope you like seeing hhjjhjhjhp[p, opppppppppl, affafafafafafaff for names because that mostly what your going to see everywhere you go. They also nerf PVP way to hell so they can make the botters not lose their gear.
i also stop playing VG, when My guild decided to go to AOC ( i would cut off my right arm before I paid to play AOC) and I just couldnt start playing in a differant guild. i already was geared with the best drops, hell i be bold enough to say I was the best geared necro worldwide.
VG is a joke of game, its to easy to max out. VG is not even close to what Lineage II grind is. Lineage II grind is about 10,000 % time more then VG is, hence why you got so many cheaters in lineage II.
This is the first time, I dont have a MMO to play, kind of sad, but owell maybe one day they make an game not for the carebears.
Well good luck, but be warned Lineage II is a game for cheaters.

I started playing Vanguard about a month ago, 8 bucks for a month of gameplay...Come on?
But really, it's a grind and I've found nothing interesting to do. Quests are scattered and there's no guide to the game (in the sense of a direction to go). It's not that I don't like playing a game that I have to interact with people, it's that I don't like being a F%^#ing crutch. I hate not having an idea of what to do, and I hate asking someone else for their opinion.
It's not that Vanguard's a bad game, it's just that "been-there, done-that" feeling I've gotten from most every MMO out there. Right now I'm looking into old-school horror games (Resident Evil, Silent HIll, the works) and I'm trying to get myself off of the MMO rails and into something new. Possibly if a sandbox without a grind that kicks a player in the nuts, releases, I'll be back. But, meh...I'll be shooting zombies until then.
To the OP, good luck with the grind of L2, I've heard it's hell...And grinding's the reason I quit playing most MMOs.
