When do you guys think Open Beta, and the Head Start programs will begin?

    Open Beta probably somewhere in the 20's of August, maybe a little later. Head Start probably a few days before launch, longer for CE pre-orders than for SE pre-orders.

    A human and an Elf get captured by Skaven. The rat-men are getting ready to shoot the first hostage with Dwarf-made guns when he yells, "Earthquake!" The naturally nervous Skaven run and hide from the imaginary threat. He escapes. The Skaven regroup and bring out the Elf. Being very smart, the Elf has figured out what to do. When the Skaven get ready to shoot, the Elf, in order to scare them, yells, "Fire!"

    Open beta might start like the last week of the August for about two weeks.  Once open closes down they will have a weeks worth of downtime to get everything ready.  Come say the 15th or 16th of September the headstart will open with servers going live the 18th.

    WAR PRE-ORDER BENEFITS INCLUDE:

    OPEN BETA ACCESS

    Experience the glory of battle and the thrill of

    WAR

    before the game goes live.


    The Open Beta will be level capped and content restricted. You will be allowed to choose any of the game's 20 unique careers and advance through rank 20. You will also be free to explore and battle across Tiers 1 and 2 of each army's homeland. Please note that any characters created during the Open Beta will NOT carry over into the live game as they will be wiped from the servers.


    To register for Open Beta:

    1. After August 15, 2008 visit the Mythic Entertainment Account Management website.
    2. Create a new Warhammer Online game account.
    3. When prompted, enter your Open Beta code.

    Your Open Beta code can be found on the card in your pre-order box or in your pre-order confirmation email. Open Beta files will be available for download on August 15th. Stay tuned for more details.

    head start will be about 3 days



    so give them about 2 days to prepare for head start so thats 13 septermber when open beta ends

    then 14 days for open beta so that would be 31 augustus



    yea thats a pretty good guess

    Fairly good estimate I would think . Gives the lead time need to for burn and and to meet ship date for disks.
