Looking for a mmorpg with a good community. Been playing these games since EQ.
I really enjoyed FFXI in the past for the people who played it, but it seems that now it doesn't have a large population or a lot of people leveling up in early levels. Also really liked Tibia for its open pvp system. Game is shit now but thats the devs fault.
I have been thinking that most mmorpgs are flawed in some way or another, so I might as well look for the social aspects of a game rather then looking for the nonexistent perfect one. Kinda just wanna go back to the massively multiplayer online roleplaying game days.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Although it is a free to play game (pros and cons there), I have to say that Fiesta had a very good community. One that I'm actually headed back to once my shoulder heals up well enough for me to take it out of the sling. The game uses WASD which is difficult when you can only play with one arm lol.

I found Vanguard to have a great community.

World of warcraft......nah tbh I agree with mike that VG did have a good community.
If someone had came up to me in 1980 when I was on my Atari 2600 and said we will be playing games with thousands of people at the same time.I guess my response would have been,"but I only have 2 joysticks"

SWG before SOE and LA decided to kill it with the CU and NGE.
CH, Jedi, Commando, Smuggler, BH, Scout, Doctor, Chef, BE...yeah, lots of SWG time invested.
