Community manager posts HERE but not on his OFFICIAL forums?

The two threads that I am referencing to are here:

Am I the only one who finds this odd and a little bit disturbing? Why in Gods name is a Funcom manager posting here on mmorpg.com for feedback on the game? If anything, they *should* be utilizing their own forums.

They have paying customers playing their game and using their forums. Paying customers. Customers that have bought AoC and subscribed to their game are paying for the utilization for their forums for feedback on the game and how to improve it. However, they are actually spending time here on a neutral site looking for feedback on their game.

We have been waiting for some answers on official EU forum for 6 days and  got none.

Now I find Famine posting here at least three times in one day.

You know what? Listen. I dont care if this has some trollishness in the post. Is Funcom management this inept that they cant take care of their own forums? Lets face the facts. The forums are a mess. There are legit threads posted which get locked or deleted even with just a hint of customer dissatisfaction, even if the post is constructive. Rampant censoring. Rumours around the internet usually dont lie, but this is beyond rumour. Their moderators are running amok and are becoming a total joke. People on the forums want to IMPROVE their game, yet the moderators smash them down. What a JOKE.

Is Funcom this inept that they cant even control their own moderators?

Are they this inept that they have to resort to posting on this site for information and feedback on their game? I can see them posting on here when their forums are in a stable, healthy condition but their forums are a mess!!! I cannot believe Funcom management has the nerve to come on here and give almost live feedback while people on their forums starve.

Hey Famine, you really, really want to help your game, and your company? Then give the customers some respect, and stop making your game and company a total joke.  In short, read these big red letters:

Get on your forums and fix them.

 

Simply outrageous.

    Very uncomfortable with what's going on here. But at the same time, they're harmless to us (consumers) as their actions humiliate themselves and further tarnish the products they represent.

    Who cares really.. AoC is dead and dying.. Nothing will save it. War will essentially break AoCs back.. Even if War sucks I guarantee by then aoc's current sub base will be gone or looking to go somewhere regardless.

    Ive said it before, aoc is a niche game much like vanguard.. I bet vanguard has more subs this time next year than aoc..

    I wouldn't worry. As you can see in those threads, every time Famine posts here he gets his ass handed to him, and he has no mod powers here to save his or Funcoms' image.

    So I reckon now he won't be posting here for very long, if he ever does again at all.
