I played AC1 awhile back when I was taking a break from eq..I think unless it was before. I really liked the game other than the graphics were not the best, like peoples heads looking like blocks floating over their bodies...but that was years ago. I liked running off out in the mountains and just setting up camp and solo, it seemed so expansive it was rare someone would come by and when they did it made for some good roleplaying.
I played some pvp on there too which wasn't too bad. There were the occasional greifer but you see them in most pvp games. I had a blast till someone gave me hell for killing them and made me feel bad lol. Anyways I thought it was pretty good for it's time at least.
AC2 I played for the most about 3 days in open beta and by the end of the 1st day I didn't really feel like there was anything that made me want to keep playing. I'm sure if I gave it more time maybe I would have liked it but probably not judging by how bad it's doing.
Other than that I think those two games are pretty much 1 foot in the ground, i'm waiting for everquest 2 to keep me going for another year or two....unless something better with pvp comes along.

Well indeed they are both exelent games, however if the new graphic upgrade to ac1 works, i think ac1 would be better. But ok i know graphic isnt important to most gamers, but in my book it is nice to have some nice to look at when u have to travel for half an hour So for now im playing ac2 til ac1 gets tweaked.
