Im sure its not news to people getting the news letter but here are the European sub costs;
- Monthly Subscription: €12.99/£10.31
- 3-Month Subscription: €35.97/£28.55 (€11.99/£9.51 per month)
- 6-Month Subscription: €65.94/£52.34 (€10.99/£8.72 per month)
seems a little steep to me. Should be around £8 imo.
Also they have revealed the under whelming box art. Its practically black and white. way to save money EA;

Notice the, 12+ sign, they sure ain't trying to hide they are willing to make it "kiddie-like" themselves to scratch at WoW's subs.

No mmorpg is worth more than £8 per month after tax on top of any original game to purchase neither.

I don't see any EA logos on that box, just GOA and Mythic.

Haha, whoops, I completely trashed those graphics on the Road to War site saying it looked more like a Heavy metal site or a Japanese Visual Kei site than something WAR, especially with their fonts, lol.
Go figure it'd end up being the same on the box, luckily their choice of fonts is better xD

Also if I'm not mistaken Publishers pick the box art.
Piss annoying, should be £9 like almost every other MMO out there. I dont understand the logic in overcharging. Its like shooting themselves in the foot and saying to stick with WoW.

I just pointed out to those folks that were quick to jump saying that the lack of color in the EU box art was due to EA cutting costs, while I don't see any EA logos on the EU version but only the GOA (European Publisher) and Mythic (and yes I know Mythic is own by EA).
so the fee is gonna be like with most other mmo´s ... nothing new, not as expensive as many believed at a point long time ago, just same old "cheap" fee.....

I quite like the EU box art, reminds me of the pictures in the fantasy roleplay book.
Also 2 things stick the price up for us in the UK
1) we have to pay VAT at 17.5%
2) Sterling is weak compared to the Euro, it's almost 1.2 euros to the pound so when the euro price gets converted it's a pretty bad rate.
and both of those are the fault of Gordon Brown, if he wants to buy some more votes beofre the next election made computer games subs VAT free again.
uhhhh Op, Mythic is now a brand of Electronic entertainment. But the Euro publisher is GOA. EA is doing hte pubslishing in NA, and may I say we have an awsome box over here.
