Closed beta?

in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

I just found out I was accepted into closed beta, like today.  I found out by going to the beta center.  No clue on how long that invite has been there.  So my thing is, is closed beta currenty down?  I don't see any info that says otherwise, yet I can't even see a server list, it just disconnects me.

Do I need to open any ports?

    Closed beta is down. They are releasing a new client with a new patch. A BIG patch, so it had to have a new client. I have no idea when it will get back up, and will post the link to the official source.

    I can't go to the warboards, they disabled registration.  And when I try to create a forum account in my betacenter, it doesn't update, the website just drags.

    I also didn't receive any email.  I just randomly logged in to my beta center last night only to find a closed beta key and some instructions.  I have the game downloaded and ready to go, only ,it's not letting me connect to the servers.  So either the game is down or I need to forward some ports, afaik.

    There isn't anything in their nda from forbidding this conversation, just as long as nothing of game content that isn't official is spoken.  So you're fine, if you can help me.  :P

    Ahh, that helped!  THanks.  I couldn't find this info about wether the client was down or not.
