Blizzard erased WoW's past?

Well, i have noticed this for a while now, but almost all old threads, and links to pictures of Beta and pre-beta WoW have lead me to the blizzard website.
It seems that they have removed all of those pictures.
One could say it was because "It was wasted space"
but with the amount of money they have i don't think that was the issue.

Do you keep all your old e-mails? I don't. Most people don't. It's not because we are ashamed of what's in them, it's just that's its not really all that important anymore. If you haven't needed it in the last 4 years, the chances are that you'll never need it again. And knowing Blizzard, the information is probably not gone, just not available to the public.
And bye the way, there seems to be a growing sentiment that just because Blizzard makes a lot of money that they should just throw it away needlessly on anything and everything. Sorry, but SUCCESSFUL companies don't do that. No matter how much money you are making, you always are very careful how you spend your money.
They never promised any Demon Hunter Hero Class. Only a Hero Class. Death Knight is the Hero class for the up WOTLK.
By the way look at the Patch Note list and you can see the changes made to the game.
All MMO's have grinds. If you don't like to Grind then MMO's are not for you.

i do...my outlook backs them up to hard drives which i have purely for back up...i have documents and emails from 1998 :P
Ah.. not intent with bashing blizzard in the present.. people are now going back in time to bash blizzard.. go to love the MMORPG community.
Bashing Blizzard and WoW is the favourite pastime of those who have aligned themselves with inferior and unfulfilling MMORPGs, such as... well.. everything else out there atm.

So you back them up? Which means that they are not readily available to you, but can be retreived if needed? Isn't it quite possible that Blizzard has done the same thing with posts from 4 years ago?
Blizzard still has things like 2001 ECTS Gameplay Preview available on their official website, so I don't think they can be blamed about hiding the past.
ahh i remember that video... i still wish they had a PVE arena like that
