i am not sure if there is one at my game stop or not,
if there is there are usually about 5-10 people so it isn't to bad.
For sure! I did it for TBC. Its always fun to see the people in your area that you may not know who are playing the same games as you.

This brings up the topic "why the HECK do you wait in line when you PREORDERED something..."
This week they finaly got the preorders of CE in my country (and next week they'll get the normal one) and i preordered ofc... i'll be getting my beta codes tomorrow prolly... and 1 day before release i'll get to chat with a lovely lady asking me if i will pick it up in person or if they should mail it... and i'll say "just mail it"...
So why oh why wait in line for hours and hours... if i can get it mailed to my home? Just to play it a few hours early? right... even MMOs are not worth that..
well i was just wondering cause at my gamestop i go to i just have to show up ten minutes before midnight, and talk with a few people for a bit, then grab my game and leave :P
Well, to the best of my knowledge, my CE box will be at my house and installed on my computer before release day ... so I would venture to guess that most of the more hardcore players will already have their box's prior to the normal release date.

There's absolutely zero reason to go to a midnight release for an MMO that has been preordered, especially this one. We already have headstart, we'll already be playing, we just have to put our retail codes into our accounts within a certain amount of time of release... so we don't even need our boxes for a while after release. I'll be too busy actually playing the game for a midnight release, I'll pick up my box sometime the next day on my way to or from work.

Yea... i was just thinking "wait... i'll be in headstart.. so that means i'll be downloading the 10 gigs before i even get to see the box..."
so prolly if i didn't have to input my CE codes a few days after start i would never even open the box and in a few months when i leave my pc i would go "cool box... when did that thing teleport into my room?"

They might just let us patch the OB client up to release version... downloading 10gb on a 2mbit line is kinda slow...
i hope, i have 6mb line but i usually get around 500-750 kb max
so 10g is gonna be a pain >.>

Not realy... with 200kb i'll have to download for say 15 hours if it's max speed... but i wont have a job then so i'll prolly download only when i'm awake and at home and i'll prolly either play another mmorpg or surf the web at the same time... so around 20 hours for me or around 2 days...
You'll get 3 times my download if you're luck and that is 5 hours of download time... doesn't sound THAT bad to me :P

No. MMOs are too unreliable during their first week.
Then come back and yell "still 40 minutes?!?" hehe... ever sat in front of your pc and watch your % bar move? it's a mindbogling expirience ^^

I am a HUGE war fan, mostly of the IP ( I know I use to not like war because of the lore missing) but eh it's still Warhammer, I would be there for sure , even thou I have it, it's just to get to see it as soon as possible.
Eh you can think of it like those that did that for HALO, I never got that , but I would do it for WAR and that I get
