why did they stop doing Warcry journals?
Currently there isn't a single gaming site on the net that has any kind of ongoing coverage of this game or even posts it's news that I know of...
The last was Warcry until the person who was doing it left the biz. That's not really any kind of excuse to just stop doing the journals though. It looks to me like they WANTED to stop doing them and that was a convenient excuse and a way out.
It's pretty pathetic that a game that is supposedly coming out in 4 months has absolutely no coverage anywhere.
"Normal" people and companies would already be deep into a public marketing campaign and doing Q&A's and all kinds of press weekly 4 months before their product is set to go out..
Of course I know we're not talking about normal anything here.

O simple reason the main editor left warcry thats why.
ONE editor left warcry. There are tons of editors at Warcry who I am sure who post their journal for them if they actually wanted to do it.

I don't see any meening with Warcrys journals, Tasos can aswell put it on the news section in the forum. Saves time I guess.

IMO no one takes the game seriously right now.
*IF* the Darkfall devs can pull off the promised beta this year, their credibility will rise and they'll get some coverage. I hope that happens.

And Tasos is great man. He is very open about development and often posts relevant things.
It wont be long till we get more news. And I believe it was Brannoc, the community manager, who said that the newxt piece of news we would get is the long awaited video!

Darkfall..the best game ever to be created doesnt need journals or any kind of publicity...when the game comes out people will just buy it..not saying anything about the game is part of the free marketing.
In 2 or 3 years when they start making the game..and 10 years later when its finally concluded..the 20 years free marketing will pay of...

The gullibility of some of you is just sad. This game is about as close to production as pluto is to the sun.
Quite evident they stopped the journals because they ran out of excuses to make up. Takes a lot of effort to make up a legitimate excuse.

I'm so thankful to these forums for having the star system for user accounts. It allows a viewer to easily see which of the posters are credible, and which are blundering idiots.
God, I hope this game releases...But I'm definitely not going to pull out my hair waiting for it. Looks like some of you are though
