I've looked around but haven't seen it mentioned. Will there be Mounts? I did see a picture w/ a greenskin on a lizard looking mount.. Just wondering..
yep there will most definitely be mounts in the game. One of the previous newsletters cover this pretty well. They will be race specific such as Empire and High Elves get a specific type of horse each, Dwarves get a mechanical mount, Orcs get a boar, Goblins get a wolf, Dark Elves get a cold one, and Chaos get a chaos horse.

Here's some links you might be interested in. They talk about the various racial mounts.
The dwarves are no longer getting the beer cart they finalized and went with a Gyrocopter backpack there's some pictures in a more recent newsletter / article. Its pretty awsome looking.
Yeah but it doesn't go with the lore and Mythic is working very closely to Games Workshop, owners of the Intellectual Property. They have to get a lot of stuff approved there first.
I'm sorry but if I was playing Warhammer and saw a High Elf zoom by me wearing a gyro-backpack I would just quit playing altogether, I hate random (against the lore) things like that.

I will always think of beer when I hear the name of the Dark elf mount. Always. Seriously.

whats the real difference between a war horse or empire and a elven steed for high elves? same thing. its a horse.
Elven Steeds will be slender, wear sleek armor, most likely be white, have long flowing hair, and pretty much look High Elfish. They will be more of a prancing pony if you will.
The Armoured War Horse will look more medieval, most likely be a darker color, not be as slender as an Elvish horse, and look more like a Clydesdale. King Arthur would ride an Empire warhorse mount.
Of course if you are comparing them on a more basic level, both horses have four legs, a head, and a tail.
A horse is a horse, but they do differ from one another visually.

High Elves have thier horses, and the Empire has thiers.
Why is it that they need to ride each others horses?
Silver Helms ride into war on..... Elvish Steeds.
Knights of the Blazing Sun ride into war on..... Empire Warhorses.
I understand it might be "cool" to see a Warrior Priest riding an elvish horse, but it just doesn't fit the lore and most definately doesn't look right. Some things just have to stay the same, this is one of them.

It may look like a clone visually to you, but it is far from it.
