Lots of haters on here, but before I go out and spend $$ on it.... Is it worth it ? a simple yes/no would suffice, but it would be nice to hear why you think so... troll away if you must.

No, check again in a year or so, took them 18 months or so to make Anarchy Online playable.

Good potential but not a great game to play at the moment. It should be a pretty good game to play one day but as of right now you'd be better off with something a little more polished.

Not unless you like wasting money. 2-3 weeks of fun max on this...of course I haven't played in over a month, the crappy patches probably make the game worse now.

There is fun to be had in this game, but its still a mess in many ways... since you missed the launch, you probably wont miss the next couple of months while they get their sh** together.
It might be a good game in a few months; right now it really is in mid beta. I say that, because other games' late beta is often in much better shape than this game.
I don't hate Age of Conan but I certainly wish I could have my $65.00 back for buying the game and subscribing for a month.

If you haven't already bought it, then no, it's not worth it at the moment, and may never be.
There are many things that are broken with the game, starting off with client instability, and progressing through every aspect of game play to one degree or another.
I'd recommend saving your money, and perhaps looking back into it in 4 to 6 months. It's almost been out for 3 months already, and the game has actually gotten worse in that time, in my opinion.

If you are at all interested in WAR and craving a new MMORPG, just wait another 6 weeks for its release. Already the masses of disgruntled AoC players are getting on board.

Burn the $50 in your fireplace, will save you gas money and disapointment from the game.

if all you want is to be entertained for a couple hours.... then yes.
1-25/30 IS fun the FIRST time you do it.
Funcom put all their eggs in one basket and that basket is called Tortage.
But at this point in time... if you are looking for a long term MMO,,,,,,
then NO... it isnt worth it.
Game is sadly seriously not worth it. The lvling itself is not fun after lvl 55, and since there is no real endgame then the lvling itself is pointless.
The combat is fun, but it can in itself not keep the game entertaining. Funcom forgot that elements in a MMO world need to have purpose.

Not worth it, dont waste the 2.99 for the buddy pass. Games been out 2 1/2 months and still in beta with half of it missing.
