Bright Wizards..........

Although Bright Wizards in the game are represented as "All things fire", all i have seen from videos/ pictures are red, yellow, and orange flames. This is all fine and dandy, cause it fits into  the fire theme, but shouldn't the masters of fire be able to produce a hotter flame "Blue/Green" at higher levels? I also stumbled upon this recently...

" My new favorite is "Mutating Blue Fire," a DOT that does 420 damage immediately and 276 damage over the next 9 seconds. It's got a 3-second cast time which makes it impractical for heated combat but it's a pretty devastating opener"

~Gamespy Journal, talking about a Magus.

Now, so i'm sitting over here, dedicating my life to fire, but that little magus on a flying disc is better at it than me?

i find that somewhat silly.

whats your opinion on it?

Bright Wizards: Orange, Red and Yellow fire.

Magus: Green, Purple and Blue fire.

These differences help them better at standing out more than the other, if they both had Red, Green and Yellow fire they wouldnt feel all that special. So...if you like Purple fire more than Red fire, go Magus.

    My 2 cents

    yea i did read that

"The magic of Tzeentch burns with eldritch multi-colored fire and transforms all it touches, infecting flesh, tearing at souls and shattering spirits. Magi are able to hurl magic from range, bringing damage to the enemy as well as subjecting them to a range of supplementary effects. "

I have to say the destruction classes have a leg up on appeal factor to almost all the order classes.

BWs will easily hit #1 in damage done the majority of the time in scenerios and such. If you are worried about being more glass than cannon, I wouldn't so much. You are going to be a freakin' devastating cannon.

Magi get purple/blue/green/pink fire because they're servants of Tzeentch...

    its all about lore.

the flames that the magus's wield and it color has nothing to do with its strength. Magus wield the brute chaos engergies themselves, a power that warps and twists everything it touches.  The very changing nature of chaos is what gives the flames thier hue.

Bright Wizards tap into the red wind of magic. The magic of fire, they are the master of all things fire and are a step up in power when it comes to things very hot when compared to the magus.
