Hello. Ok, I've played Guild Wars for a long time and I love the game but I need something a little deeper and maybe a tad less instanced. I loved the PvE in GW and the simplicity of the class system so if there's anything out there like that I would appreciate the suggestion.
I've looked at LOTRO and it looked like something I might like; are there any similarities between it and Guild Wars?

Wow is probably the game for you.
----ITS A TRAP!!!----
WoW in the current state with almost no world PvP is equal to GW, with item grind and monthly fee. Typical GW player even do not like WoW because its too much item dependent.
Something deeper as MMO is EVE if you like Sci-Fi. A perfect alternative for GW player can be Warhammer that will be released soon. He have great world PvP, but still is similar to GW and WoW.
Where themepark games try to hide that they are copying WOW, games like Mortal Online and Darkfall make no attempt to hide their inspiration

I think that's a matter of opinion. I gave up on EVE, after I realized I was not a character, but a freakin' spaceship. I didn't consider it deep. I considered it annoying.
As a GW player, I like WoW, and EQII. WAR will still have some feel for you, but alot more potential for PvP than WoW.
By a little deeper, I stress the "little" part. I am definitely a casual player and won't have nearly enough time to devote to a game like EVE. I also really like good lore or a good story line which is why I though Lord of The rings Online would be a good alternative and I've heard that game is PvE heavy.
lotro would be good for you, its a good 'casual' game, not demanding lots of time, some interesting classes, no forced pvp, great storyline, lore and general pve experince, might want to look also at eq2, thats a good pve game
LotrO have a 14-day trial so download and see if you like it! From what you said, i think you will
If WoW = The Beatles
and WAR = Led Zeppelin
Then LotrO = Pink Floyd
Ok thanks, EQ2 looks good too. I'll definitely give that one a try.
