Just preordered from D2D, when can i download?

Hello,
I've just pre-ordered my copy of WAR from Direct2Drive (UK). Does anyone know when i can begin to download the client?
Also, is there a solid start date for the european beta?

You won't be downloading any client. When you get the game (18.sep), you'll get the CDs/DVDs to install the client and all its data.
But..*whispers*..if you really want the client, you could find it on google.
um hello, D2D doesnt shop ANY game, all are to be downloaded
Then you will have to wait until sept 18, noone can download the game yet, only betatesters, and its just the beta client, not the final one.
Oook, i'll rephrase that - The D2D pre-order includes Open Beta access... Does anyone know when i can download the beta client?
They will email you when the beta is open....

have you even try to search a bit before you asked that question?
The open beta keys will be used on 15 augustus and you can also download the open beta that day. The open beta it self will pbb start around 1september.
Mythic already said that they do not plan on doing a full month of open beta. So a good guess would be 2 weeks before launch. So that would be 1 september
Read before posting please. He never said a single thing about having the game shipped to him.
