Hello, I recently tried registering, but there is a problem. Whenever I click Register, I get this note:

Sorry, registration has been disabled by the administrator.
Am I doing something wrong?
Ah, thanks for pointing that out. That page should redirect to the main registration page (another thing we'll get fixed).
To register you have to register through the main site at www.Gnostaria.com (right here specifically: www.gnostaria.com/user/register). This gives you a single login that works across the site, the forums and for logging into the game (presently only for those who have permissions assigned to them that allow them into the alpha server).

Just curious, (may as well ask here) is Gnostaria still taking alpha testers?

We are still taking Alpha testers and add new testers with each new phase of testing. The next phase is set to begin tomorrow so new testers can sign up through Monday.

Sounds great! I look forward to helping out and trying Gnostaria for myself.

Any requirements for becoming a tester? Particularly on the hardware.
Right now there are no fixed minimum hardware requirements (we are actually interested in seeing how well the game will run on lower end systems to help determine those minimum requirements).
The only hard requirements are that you have a DirectX 9 (or better) video card, Windows XP or Windows Vista, approximately 500mb of free HD space and recommended at least 1GB of RAM.
heh...I'm a pretty basic mmo player when it comes to words....whats an Indie Game? Is it like a sandbox style or what? I looked ta the site but eh, I dont wanna wait a few days-weeks to try out the beta, I'd just like to sign up and play O.o

Indie means it is independentily developed. They aren't associated with any game companies.

Indie means we are an independent team that is creating it, not a large or established company. The game is still "alpha" so it is missing a lot of features and content and not intended for mass distribution yet. We are targeting a beta release in a few months.

There is a private forum for people who are in the test group and a password protected client download is made available as updates are released. There isn't a public client download right now.
Most indie game never release also. They just use the fans of the genre to generate attention and boost career points for the small dev teams. Why I stopped caring about them.

The link to register directly from the forum has been fixed now as well. Thanks for the heads up and glad you made it over successfully.
