Hey guys I've heard a lot of mixed reviews for conan and want to try the game out for myself. Unfortanutely, mostly all the reviews have been very negative, but never know until you try it yourself ! My main concern is if my computer will be able to handle the game. Here are my specs...

tried both on windows xp and vista 64
I used to get around ~30 to ~50 outdoor, and ~100+ in dungeon
but that was a while ago so I dont know now, you should be ok with those spec
I had worst performance after a patch so it could be better for you or worst
In all honesty that system should run it fine, but the biggest problem with AOC is flakey performance across the board. People with 4k rigs had more probs with people with 1k rigs.
All boils down to poor coding and compatibility.
Funcom still swears by the original printed info along with DX10 <chuckle>

In theory your specs will hold up fine but the code is so unstable you wont know if you will be able to run it smoothly until you do buy it.
Although I would seriously wait for about 6 months to a year before buying. Right now, you are simply throwing money to the wind.

yeah I do feel like I might be pissing in the wind tryings aoc right now.. But I keep coming back and checking the forums hoping for good news.. Honestly I cannot wait for WAR to come out.. My rig I assume will be able to run it with ease... I had just followed aoc for so long like everyone else and just have to see for myself what condition its in... I guess open beta for WAR starts early september with pre-order. Seeya out there.

OB for WAR should start sometime this august mate, the game launches 18th of sept (15th early access)
WAR starts in a little more than a month. Give that a try or wait to see if that bombs as well. I dont know if it will because I havent bothered with the beta yet. But if it doesn't bomb, play WAR for a year or so until they figure the mess out with AoC. By then, AoC may be more polished.
