Kind of boring after the first couple of minutes. Got a lvl 6 on every class and every race.

Lvl 1-20 was the best gaming experience ive ever had in an mmrpg. Level 20-30 revealed a few problems with the game design that im hoping blizzard will remedy before the game goes retail.

I loved the stress test, can't wait for retail!  My favorite char was my undead warrior, even though I only got him to lvl 5.  Had a troll hunter I like also he was lvl 10!

The stress test was amazing.  For a beta it had suprisingly little problems, but they definitely did exist.  Hence "beta."

    I had a level 24 warlock and a level 9 mage on tichondrius.image

The stress test was an awakening experience. I had not played a MMORPG before and was thoroughly impressed with the game. I had a 18th lvl Undead Priest by the end of the stress test. I am in sad sad shape since the end of the test. The best way to put it is... " Hello. My name is Froby, and I'm a WoW addict."

Welcome Froby.  I've been an addict since 1994.  And welcome to the wonderful world of MMORPGs.

It was fun, I got my NE druid to 10 just wanted to see the bear form... er looked kinda like a wolverine to me, but whatever works :).

I'm currently trying to decide on which game I'll be pre-ordering (I'll be buying them both just not pre-ordering and buying them together): EQ2 or WoW, unlike many people I can't bash either game because I know I'll enjoy both games, but I'm kind of lost on what to do...

er anyway, back to the topic at hand:  WoW was an incredibly fun mmorpg, haven't played a fun mmorpg ever, which amused me, since I've played a lot, but never just sat there and went "Hey this is actually fun..."  Sure they're all fun in their own way, but the simple exploration and questing without spoilers and idiots in the general chat spamming how 1337 they were made me really enjoy the game...  Yep, I'm too easy to please, I probably won't love the game until they make a RP server, but aside from that PVP was a party...

    Interests: EQ2 & Wow (OMG!!)
Played: EQ, DAoC, AC, AC2, UO, Meridian59, CoH, Horizons, Planetside, & SWG
    Liked Most: DAoC

I was blown away by the ST and can't wait for Retail.  I managed to get a lvl 21 Human Warrior and several others of different races and classes between 5-10..  It didn't seem like I had to put alot of time in in order to see my character develope.  This is good for me since I consider myself as more of a casual player.

As the end of the ST loomed, I started to feel discouraged that I would not be able to play for a couple more months.  So when the ST was extended, I decided not to log in anymore and save the little bit more content I would have seen until retail.  It was tough, but I made it through the weekend without breaking down and logging in.

I'll see you guys in game in a couple of months, hopefully.

GL all for the Closed Beta.

It was good, but I'm not sure whether I will be getting it when it goes gold. As of right now, I would rather play EQ2, but I'll have more time to test WoW in OB.

Stress Test was like a drug!
I startet and the only time i wasn t playing was the time i was eating or sleeping.
After this i got my EQ2 Beta Acc and I hoped it will help me over the time until wow will be released.
But no chance. EQ2 suxx me hard and now I hope every day that I get a WoW beta key.

It was greatimage.  Having withdraws from it now.  My wife plays mmpg with me and she made a new char and lvl to like 10 and she said awesome lets get it.  I told here sure then cancelled both my daoc accounts.   Cant wait for it to release or atleast in the beta.

If they gave beta accounts for pre-ordering.  I bet there pre-order sales would fly through the roof.  I learned my lesson on pre-release.  Never get released on the day and I already paid.  With getting a beta account with pre-order wouldnt care when it was released as long I can play image

Stress test made me sad, 10 days of fore play then "cya".

  • TurelionTurelion Member Posts: 7

I had a great time up until about level 25, 2 days prior to it ending.  Kind of lost my drive to improve my character at that point, seeing as it would all disappear in a few days.  But anyways, level 26 Rogue on Sargeras, and had a fantastic time.  Hopefully I can get into EQ2 beta to compare them pre-release and get the one I think I'll enjoy the most.

image I had a good experience, Lvl 13 Dark Elf Hunter w/ Lvl 11 sidekick.  The last 1/2 hour we ran out as far as we could and got our azzes handed to us by a Lvl <unknown> griffon. He had both of us down in two swings! Can't wait for the retail, though, D&D, D&L and Wish could be stealing some of it's glory if they don't release on time!

It was a lot of fun, I was amazed how out of any game I have beta tested, WoW seemed to be the nearest to complete, and they're still adding more!image I am so impressed with blizzard!image I loved every race and every class, but I ended up sticking with the easiest ti play, I had a level 17 Tauren Warrior by the name of "Rivka"...I was iffy about playing horde at all because I used to be so concerned with my character being "pretty" lol...so I decided to step out on a limb and try it out...now I like Taurens a lot, along with all the other races.  I probably wont have a high level character anytime soon since I enjoy playing a little bit of everything. :)  The only thing I was a bit disappointed about was the gnomes and dwarves shared a starting area and so did the orcs and trolls, Im hoping they change that to add even more content in the game, image and thats me being picky hehe.

I had a level 7 Night Elf Hunter.  Didn't get a chance to PVP or get a pet.  How are they PVP? Anyone know?  Does the pet come in handy or is it a nuisance?  Thanks in advance.
